MPS (Modern Public School) Shalimar Baugh New Delhi, participated in the ‘World’s Largest Global Climate Clock Assembly and Display event held last month. This was organized by the Energy Swaraj Foundation in association with Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE.) About 10,000 organizations from all over the world participated in this event. This purpose driven initiative, created an awareness of the changing climate and rising temperatures, and what needs to be done for preserving Mother Earth. During this event the school created their own climate clock which is on display at the school premises. Ms Alka Kapur, Principal of Modern Public School expressed her happiness at participating in this event which addressed a burning topic – Climate Change! The school will introduce climate corrective measures and conserve electricity amongst other effective initiatives.
