CM Rise programme is a flagship academic partnership programme between the Government of Madhya Pradesh and Peepul, funded by SBI Funds Management Ltd. (the asset management company of SBI Mutual Fund) and SBI Foundation. The programme aims to conceptualize, design, and implement to create a holistic learning ecosystem for 2,65,000 teachers in the state, to help them navigate the current and future times, and empower them to be effective last-mile support, counsellors and educators for their students and their families.
The journey of the programme was initiated with CM Rise Digital Teacher Training delivered through DIKSHA, the national platform of the Ministry of Human Resource Development to teachers. The digital teacher training based on bite-sized, modular training courses involves a journey of three steps which is pre-work, course session and post-work. Pre-work acts as an initial hook to engage teachers to start working on the course subject before enrolling in the course programme. The course session which consists of core training courses explaining critical components of classroom teaching and teacher development in bite-sized pieces of knowledge; then comes post-work which involves exercises that focus on self-assessment and understanding the application of acquired learnings from the course module in the classroom.
The booklet is a platform to recognize and motivate teachers to share their learnings, experiences and inspire other teachers to engage more deeply with the ongoing courses. This event was organized to celebrate the teachers who have contributed through course-related reflections based on the learnings derived from the courses of Home Base Learning (HBL) and Nishtha 3.0 FLN series. The two journey booklets: “Humare Shikshak Humare Prernastroth” Part 3 and Humare Shikshak Humare Prernastroth Part 4 document the reflections of 89 teachers who have completed the courses on DIKSHA.
