The team at the Tata Motors hospital, district administration, and OHC (Occupational Health Centre) of the Jamshedpur Plant, and the residents of Jamshedpur have worked hand in hand to achieve 100% vaccination for these children.

Launched on January 3rd, the team chalked out an extensive plan to register the children and organize vaccination camps at two locations in Jamshedpur to cover all eligible children across schools supported by Tata Motors. Besides vaccination, Tata Motors hospital staff are carrying on regular programmes for educating the children and their parents on COVID-19 protocols such as wearing proper masks, maintaining social distancing, frequent washing of hands, avoiding crowded places, unnecessary travel etc.

Dr Sanjay Kumar, Head – Medical Services, Tata Motors Jamshedpur, said, “These children are our future citizens, and it is our responsibility to safeguard them. Maintaining good health of children is important for ensuring the wellbeing of any nation. We are happy that we could immunize all children in the age group 15-18 years across all Tata Motors schools in Jamshedpur so soon. We would like to thank the parents too for coming forth and supporting the immunization programme.
