CSR Times accredited the efforts under social service in its recent 9TH National CSR Times
Summit and Awards 2022

CSR Times in its objective to recognize the commendable CSR initiatives, have been organizing The ANNUAL CSR TIMES SUMMIT & AWARDS, to encourage and recognize Corporate, PSUs, MSMEs, Start-ups, Foundations, NGO’s, Municipalities, Village Panchayats and Consulting Organisations, who have delivered successful projects with significant project outcomes and achieved excellence towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year also, in its 9th edition organised on 8th of December at Shangri- La Hotel, the National CSR Times Summit & Awards in association with Indian Achievers’ Forum had such dignitaries who attended this summit along with the CSR TIMES Award Winners selected through a rigorous selection process by our eminent Jury. The theme of the summit was “Role of CSR in Nation building.” The summit was attended by more than 300 delegates.

The program commenced with the inaugural ceremony followed by few speeches by significant personalities. The Chief Guest of the event was Km. Pratima Bhoumik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment. She congratulated all the participants and winners on the occasion. The Guest of Honor of the summit was Shri Sunil Deodhar, National Secretary,Bhartiya Janta Party.

 

The other distinguished guests who attended the event were Shri Arun Sao (MP), Shri Vijay Baghel (MP), Shri N. K. Premachandran (MP)National Secretary, Bhartiya Janata Party , Shri Kumbakudi Sudhakaran (MP), Shri Baburam Nishad (MP), Shri Janardan Singh Sigriwal (MP), H.E. Mr. Sinisa  Pavic, Ambassador of Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav,Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Mongolia, Mr. K.P. Fabian, Former Senior Diplomat , Justice Narendra Kumar Jain, Chairman, National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions (NCMEI) , Shri Amod Kumar Kanth, Retd. IPS, Founder & General Secretary, Prayas JAC Society, Sh. V P Rana, Air Marshal (Retd.), Sh. A K Tyagi, Jury Chairman , Mr. S. Ravi Shankar,Executive Committee Member, and Mr. Nilesh Kumar, Counsellor, Fiji High Commission.

Km. Pratima Bhoumik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment said, “Our nation has showed the spirit of togetherness at the time of Covid and I’d like to congratulate all the organizations who participated under CSR and helped the nation in dire circumstances. Because of CSR we were able to meet the shortage of ventilators and other equipment. Congratulations to all  the award winners”.

Shri Sunil Deodhar, National Secretary, Bhartiya Janta Party said, “Everyone must actively participate under CSR for the development of the nation as a whole. Not only corporates but it’s everyone’s duty to contribute socially.”

A panel discussion on the theme was also organized where various avenues to contribute under CSR were discussed. Professionals from various sectors graced the panel and put forward their views related to role of CSR in nation building. During the summit, some award winning CSR presentations were also showcased.

Few exemplary achievements of MSME’s and individuals were also felicitated with the Indian Achievers’ Award for their recognition worthy contribution. These individuals and organizations have shown the spirit of “Atmanirbharta” through the indomitable efforts.

Mr. Harish Chandra, Editor, CSR Times congratulated all the winners and participants of the summit and also thanked all the partners in the enormous success of the summit. The event concluded with the Vote of thanks to all the participants and stakeholders. The event was sponsored by Indian Oil, BPCL, EIL, BECIL, RCF, ONGC, State bank of India and Ajmal Foundation. The event concluded on a positive note and also with the motivation to work collectively for the betterment of our nation.
