The President’s Secretariat had made necessary arrangements for making the stage and venue accessible for persons with disabilities.

The cultural event began on April 18, 2019, in the presence of the President of India. The event was then witnessed by about 300 dignitaries including Ambassadors, High Commissioners, senior government officials, creative personalities, educators, principals and disability advocacy groups. The programme was anchored by three youths with visual impairments disabilities; and the performances were only by children and youth with disabilities ranging from physical, visual, hearing, intellectual and autism to multiple disabilities.
