First Step Foundation in collaboration with Tatvmasi Martand hosts Raag Vasantotsav in Safdarjung Hospital

2ND February 2023 –First Step Foundation in association with Tatvmasi Martand conducted the Raag Vasantotasav on Wednesday in Safdarganj Hospital, New Delhi. The event was hosted for Doctors and frontline workers as tribute for their relentless service to the nation. The event was attended by around 200 people comprising Doctors , Frontline workers , HoD’s and students from the medical college.

The chief guest of the event was Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs, Sport & Information & Broadcasting, GoI.  He set the context of the event by saying, “In the past two years we’ve all seen another form of God and that is our Doctors and frontline workers. COVID has made us realise their importance”. The event was also graced by important dignitaries including – Anant Shri Vibhushit Jagadguru Shankracharya Swami Anantanand Saraswati Ji, Rajguru Math Kashi, Subodh Gupta, CMD Microtek International, Shiv Pratap Singh, Shivnaresh Sports Pvt Ltd, Newton Mishra , Founder Director – Tatvmasi Martand Pvt Ltd, Harish Chandra, President, Indian Achievers’ Forum and others.

The musical event showcased some great talents from across India. Pandit Shri Mithalesh Jha Maharaj on Tabla from Banaras Gharana and Shri Ghanshyam Sisodiya on Sarangi from Gwalior Gharana left the audience mesmerised with their Jugalbandi. Their performance was followed by Tatvmasi Band where presented a fusion of various instruments. The programme was concluded by final performance of the day by Shri Prashant Das on flute who played it with felicity.
