Samsung Partners with Uttar Pradesh to Set Up 20 Samsung Smart Healthcare Centres in State

Samsung India has entered into a partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to add 20 new Samsung Smart Healthcare centres across the state and provide affordable and quality healthcare to patients from the economically and socially weaker sections of society. As part of its Smart Healthcare program, Samsung will provide advanced and innovative healthcare equipment such as ultrasound and digital radiology (x-ray) machines manufactured by the Company along with a Samsung LED TV, Samsung air conditioner and refrigerator to selected government hospitals across the state. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Samsung India and the Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh in the presence of Shri Siddharth Nath Singh, Minister of Medical and Health, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Prashant Trivedi, Principal Secretary, Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. V. HekaliZhimomi, Secretary, Medical Health & Family Welfare Department, Dr. Padmakar Singh, DG Medical & Health Services, Government of Uttar Pradesh and other dignitaries.
