A mass movement Sustainable is Attainable (SIA) initiated by Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies in association with News 18 is gaining more momentum with the inauguration of the SIA Fest in New Delhi on May 17th. The keynote speech will be delivered by Hon’ble Union Power Minister Shri RK Singh and Hon’ble Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Shri Bhupender Yadav will deliver a special address. The event will see participation from Union Ministers, Ambassadors, State level top bureaucrats, leaders and celebrities form diverse field.
This Fest will create an open forum for dialogue that will drive the adoption of green energy in India and is being cited as a big step forward in the Sustainable is Attainable Movement. The support of this Fest celebrating sustainability by illustrious doyens of society will boost the ongoing conversation. A strong focus of this Fest is providing Inspiration to millions of Indians for adopting and attaining sustainable lifestyles.

In view of the adverse impact of fossil fuels where India has recognized the urgent and immediate need to make a shift towards sustainable and renewable energy sources, the SIA Movement, assumes a great significance. India has set a target of achieving 450 GW of renewable energy capacity by the year 2030. This would then position the country as a global leader in green energy. The Tata Group has for its’ group identified new energy as a large focus in order to contribute towards India’s net zero goals.
