Agri Wings Empowers VLEs with Quality Training, Loan Assistance, Drones, and DGCA Certification

15th July 2024: AgriWings, a leader in precision agricultural drone spraying services, is making strides to revolutionize the agricultural landscape through its Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) channel. This initiative aims to empower rural youth, providing them with the tools, training, and support necessary to succeed as entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.

AgriWings is dedicated to equipping VLEs with the knowledge and skills required to thrive. The training encompasses various aspects of agricultural entrepreneurship, focusing on quality management and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By ensuring proper SOPs, AgriWings guarantees that VLEs maintain high standards in their operations, fostering trust and reliability. Recognizing the financial hurdles faced by many aspiring entrepreneurs, AgriWings offers comprehensive loan processing assistance. This support makes it easier for VLEs to access the necessary funds to kickstart their ventures. By simplifying the loan process, AgriWings removes a significant barrier to entry, paving the way for more rural youth to become successful entrepreneurs.

Technical training is a cornerstone of the AgriWings initiative. The organization provides extensive training on the use of agricultural drones, a technology that has the potential to transform farming practices. This training ensures that VLEs are well-versed in operating drones, and optimizing their use for various agricultural applications. To further enhance the capabilities of VLEs, AgriWings offers training under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) guidelines. This includes obtaining the Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC), a crucial credential for operating drones commercially. The DGCA training ensures that VLEs meet the regulatory standards, enhancing their credibility and operational efficiency.

One of the most promising aspects of the AgriWings initiative is the potential to revolutionize income generation for farmers. With just one drone, farmers have the opportunity to generate annual earnings of up to 7-8 lakhs, marking a substantial enhancement in their financial stability and prosperity. Success stories from early adopters highlight the transformative impact of drone technology on their livelihoods.

“AgriWings’ VLE channel is a groundbreaking initiative that combines technology, training, and financial support to empower rural youth and transform the agricultural sector,” says Mr. Vidur Varma, CEO at AgriWings. “By providing comprehensive training and support, AgriWings is paving the way for a new generation of successful agricultural entrepreneurs. We also aim to encourage youth to see the drone industry as a viable and rewarding career path.”

AgriWings is targeting rural youth from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, focusing on individuals over the age of 21 who are unemployed and seeking job opportunities. By concentrating on these regions, AgriWings aims to tackle unemployment and stimulate economic growth in rural areas, particularly by encouraging young people who want to start their careers in the drone industry.

The success of the AgriWings initiative is bolstered by its strong corporate partnerships. These collaborations help generate demand for the services offered by VLEs, ensuring a steady stream of business opportunities. This symbiotic relationship benefits both the farmers and the corporate partners, creating a sustainable business model.

Farmers interested in the AgriWings initiative can easily reach out through the organization’s website, contact the dedicated call center, or visit their nearest AgriWings distributor office for assistance. An associated representative will contact them to explain the policy and guide them through the process. This streamlined approach ensures that farmers can quickly and efficiently access the support they need. AgriWings provides a comprehensive training program that spans at least 30-45 days. The training covers various aspects of drone technology operational techniques, maintenance protocols, and safety procedures. Upon completion of the initial training, participants are sent for DGCA training, where they can obtain their Remote Pilot Certificate.

AgriWings aims to empower 50 entrepreneurs from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana in the current financial year. This ambitious target underscores the organization’s commitment to making a tangible impact on rural communities. The AgriWings initiative promises significant benefits for rural communities. By providing job opportunities and enhancing the agricultural practices of local farmers, the program contributes to the overall economic development of these regions.

Looking ahead, AgriWings plans to expand its reach and impact PAN India. The organization is exploring strategies to broaden its training programs and support services, intending to empower even more rural entrepreneurs in the future.
