Nickelodeon celebrates International Yoga Day with #YogaSeHiHoga campaign; with AYUSH Ministry and dignitaries Nickelodeon, one of the leading names in Kid’s entertainment, partnered with the Ayush Ministry with a view to educating and inspiring young minds about the benefits of yoga. This was a part of its ongoing intitiative of making yoga an integral part of every kid’s daily routine. Popular NicktoonsMotu Patlu, Rudra and Abhimanyu educated 150,000 people and kids on the benefits of yoga on June 21st. Present on the occasion were Vice President of India – Jagdeep Dhankhar, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Honourable Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, and other dignitaries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, delivered a special video message while addressing the participants, and enumerated the importance and values of practicing yoga.

Saving Heritage For Posterity

WORLD LEGACY Under the government of India’s ‘Adopt a Heritage’ Scheme for better upkeep of heritage buildings by corporate houses, it was decided that of Delhi’s Red Fort built by Shah Jahan—the Mughal emperor – would be taken care of by Dalmia Bharat Ltd. There is a long list of such heritage building that the government wants to give them to corporate houses for maintenance. Corporate sector will be tasked with overseeing the management of long-neglected historical buildings as ‘monument mitras’ (friends of monuments). Four memorandum of understandings (MoUs) have already been signed under the scheme. Mount Stok Kangri Trek Route, Ladakh, Gangotri Temple Area and Trail to Gaumukh, Uttarakhand, Red Fort, Delhi and Gandikota Fort, Andhra Pradesh have been adopted to begin with.
