
Drishti Foundation Trust Advocates Integrated, Science-Based Approach to Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Development
Drishti Foundation Trust has reiterated the need for an integrated, science-based and partnership-driven approach to addressing India’s growing environmental and developmental challenges. The Trust emphasised that environmental conservation must move beyond isolated interventions and evolve into a broader ecological framework that connects biodiversity, water security, river restoration, disaster resilience, traditional knowledge, scientific research, urban development and community participation. The perspective was reinforced during an important meeting between Dinesh Kumar Gautam, Founder, Drishti Foundation Trust, and Mr. V. Nandkumar, Income Tax Commissioner (Exemptions), Gujarat, Daman and Diu.
