2nd April 2025: Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) and SayTrees have successfully restored the 26-acre Choodasandra Lake in Bengaluru, transforming it from encroachments, overgrowth of weeds and deterioration of water quality into a thriving hub for biodiversity and community engagement. Launched in December 2022, the two-year conservation project was commemorated at the lake by Mr. Dattatri Salagame, CEO, President and Managing Director of BGSW. Shilpa Deodhar, Head of CSR, BGSW, emphasized the project’s significance, stating, “Choodasandra Lake was restored due to its crucial role in Bengaluru’s water ecosystem and the severe challenges it faced, including encroachments, untreated sewage, and deteriorating water quality. 31st March 2025: In a heartfelt display of social responsibility, CityKart, a leading retail brand, has successfully executed a series of impactful CSR initiatives, benefiting communities across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and other regions of India. 31st March 2025: Akums, India’s pioneering CDMO and one of the early starters in the business of pharma manufacturing, is making a large stride towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow. Akums has successfully installed a 600 kWp on-grid rooftop solar power plant on its warehouse premises in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The grid-connected solar panel, placed across a 56,000 sq. ft. region on the rooftop, is anticipated to produce more than 7.5 lakh units of solar power each year, according to calculations of trapping sunlight for 5 hours daily. With this project, the company can save a significant amount on electricity usage per annum, amounting to huge savings on energy expenditure while preserving the environment. Using the energy produced by solar power, Akums will be conserving the equivalent of over 10,000 trees per year, emphasizing its mission for sustainability and minimizing dependence on conventional energy

26th March 2025: Suma Kanakala, renowned Telugu television personality and brand ambassador for Wagh Bakri Tea Group, joined hands with the Wagh Bakri Foundation as it donated 9 new food distribution vehicles to The Akshaya Patra Foundation. This initiative underscores Wagh Bakri Tea Group’s commitment to social responsibility and its support for the Government of India’s PM POSHAN Initiative in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana (formerly known as the Mid-Day Meal Scheme.) 25th March 2025: Epsilon Foundation, the CSR wing of Epsilon Carbon Private Limited, inaugurated a 26-bed Mother & Child Care Unit at Jindal Sanjeevani Multi Specialty Hospital (JSMSH) in Vijayanagar, Bellary, Karnataka. This initiative will improve maternal and pediatric care in the region with best-in-class equipment and facilities. Mr. Vikram Handa and Mrs. Tarini Jindal Handa inaugurated this new Mother & Child Care unit which features a 10-bed maternity ward equipped with a dedicated labor operating theatre (OT), coupled with a 6-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and a 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), with potential to expand this into a 30 beds facility. March 12, 2025: The Mahatma Gandhi Centre for Skill Development, an initiative by Medhavi Skills University (MSU) in collaboration with Helping Hands NGO, successfully hosted its convocation ceremony to honour the first batch of graduating students from its Plumbing and Electrical programs.  The event at the Mahatma Gandhi Centre (MGC) in Hong Village, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, marked a major milestone in equipping the youth of the Northeast with skill-based education. 6th March 2025: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) as part of its CSR initiatives has partnered with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and Utkrisht Society for Safe Haryana (a Society belonging to Haryana State Police) to implement an Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) in the city. The ITMS will be installed and maintained at 23 junctions across 4 road stretches covering 40 kilometers in Gurugram aided by ~400 cameras and a radar system. This project is funded as a CSR initiative by MSIL. The ITMS for these cameras will be set up by Maruti Suzuki and integrated with the GMDA system.
