Project Parivartan: AkzoNobel’s Initiative Impacting 2,000+ Children Annually in Punjab, Celebrates 5 Years of Transformative Education

30th July 2024: AkzoNobel, maker of Dulux Paints, celebrated five years of Project Parivartan – its flagship education initiative – in the Mohali district of Punjab by gifting a new dose of joy to nearly 800 children and faculty of two Government High Schools at Mauli Baidwan and Saneta in the district. Throughout summer vacations, 10 employees from AkzoNobel’s Mohali plant and Dulux’s skilled painters volunteered their time and talent to create eight inspiring murals with nearly 700 liters of Dulux paints. Panasonic Life Solutions India announces the 9th edition of the Ratti Chhatr Scholarship program, Registrations are open for eligible students

29 July 2024: Panasonic Life Solutions India, a diversified technology company, announced the ninth edition of its flagship scholarship program, Ratti Chhatr, which aims to recognize and empower young future leaders by providing financial assistance to select undergraduate students admitted to B.E./B.Tech. courses at any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), helping cover around 50–70% of their tuition fees. Registration for eligible students is open until August 15, 2024. The ‘Magical Mangroves Campaign’ empowers over 34,000 lives across seven coastal states in India

26 July 2024: Godrej & Boyce, part of the Godrej Enterprises Group, which has a diverse presence in consumer and industrial businesses ranging from aerospace and consumer durables to energy and sustainable construction solutions, announced Phase 5 of its Magical Mangroves campaign in association with WWF India on The International Day for the Conservation of the Mangroves Ecosystem. Launched in 2020, the initiative has onboarded 190 volunteers and empowered 34,630 people across 7 states through over 460 webinars, on-ground initiatives, and social media campaigns. This effort highlights Godrej & Boyce’s commitment to environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation. The organization has been conserving hundreds of acres of mangroves along the Vikhroli and Thane Creek coastlines in Mumbai for over 30 years.

Educate Girls organizes Shiksha Rath campaign to spread awareness about education at the grassroots level

25 July 2024: Educate Girls, a leading non-profit organization committed to raising awareness about the importance of educating girl children, organized a Shiksha Rath campaign in Uttar Pradesh’s Sahason village in Bahadurpur block in Prayagraj. The Shiksha Rath, a van equipped with posters and banners, aims to spread awareness about the benefits of educating girls in rural areas. The Shiksha Rath, which is part of the enrolment campaign by Educate Girls, was held to encourage more parents to enroll their girl children in schools. This Shiksha Rath was organized in partnership with the village head, village educational institutions, and volunteers. With carefully curated street plays, awareness rallies, speeches, and interactive demonstrations, it awakened the spirit of education among village residents.
