15th October 2025: CanSupport, India’s leading provider of palliative care, launched the evocative photographic exhibit Touching Lives by renowned British photographer Barbara Hind at a Charity Dinner hosted to commemorate World Hospice and Palliative Care Day (WHPCD), at CSOI, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi. Touching Lives is a moving collection of photographs that captures the dignity, resilience, and humanity of people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as the compassion of those who care for them. 10th October 2025: The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, today virtually inaugurated Mahindra Tractor’s Skill Development Centre in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, from Mumbai. This landmark initiative aims to empower rural youth by equipping them with industry-relevant skills, paving the way for new avenues for employment in the region. 10th October 2025: At just 17, Ameya Meattle is making India proud by embodying a rare combination of technical innovation and human compassion. At 14, he founded his social enterprise — Earth First, that helps visually impaired individuals earn and learn by creating eco-friendly products. Through partnerships with 8 NGOs in Singapore and India, Earth First has trained over 100 visually impaired students and launched 23+ sustainable product lines, including tote bags, jute placemats, and macrame planters which were sold through retail channels in Singapore working closely with NGOs, Ameya has designed products and training processes that provide step-by-step guidance to visually impaired individuals, to ensure real skills and confidence. The partnership will document, adapt, and scale Karnataka’s successful ASHA Kirana program, an integrated approach that embeds eye health services within primary healthcare systems. 9th October 2025: In a significant step toward expanding access to compassionate healthcare, CanSupport, India’s leading provider of free palliative care, unveiled two Mobile Palliative Care Clinics (MPCCs) from Optum’s Gurgaon office. The initiative supported by Optum India as part of its CSR programme is designed to deliver free-of-charge, holistic palliative care services to underserved cancer patients and ensure dignity, comfort, and compassionate support for both patients and caregivers.
