The 2025 Partnership Forum of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC Partnership Forum), held on 5 February 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York marked the first major event of the ECOSOC calendar. APM Terminals Pipavav’s Health Initiative Offers Eye Care to Local Communities

30th January 2025:  APM Terminals Pipavav, in its ongoing commitment to community welfare, organized an eye check-up camp. The camp witnessed a turnout of 344 individuals, with 80 cataract surgeries conducted at Sudarshan Netralaya, Amreli. This initiative is part of the bi-monthly eye check-up camps launched in 2017, benefiting 350 to 450 villagers per camp from over 70 villages across Amreli, Jafrabad, and surrounding talukas. Since 2017, APM Terminals has organized bimonthly eye checkup camps as part of its continuous healthcare efforts. These camps offer on-site OPD treatment and identify patients requiring advanced care. Those diagnosed with conditions such as cataracts and other eye diseases are referred to Sudarshan Netralaya for free surgery, ensuring critical eye health needs are addressed
