30th October 2024: L&T Finance Ltd. (LTF), one of the leading Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) in the country, announces the launch of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, ‘Jalvaibhav 2.0’, in the Mulbagal Taluk of Kolar district, Karnataka. The initiative focuses on integrated water resource management to create additional water harvesting capacity, benefiting over 5,000 farmers across 12 villages. 28th October 2024: SMFG India Credit (SMICC), a leading non-banking financial company initiated its employee-centric initiative, ‘Ek Muthi Chawal’. The initiative allows employees of SMFG India Credit an opportunity to spread festive cheers by donating rice, wheat, and pulses which will help feed children and elderly in old age homes for a month. Donations received during this initiative go directly to a partner NGO and are utilized to benefit children and elderly people. 23rd October 2024: APM Terminals Pipavav is proud to announce that its 24/7 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance has completed over 1,000 emergency cases, providing critical health services to the villagers in the surrounding areas. Launched in April 2022, the ALS ambulance has been a lifesaver for residents of Shiyalbet, Rampara, Bherai, Divalo, Devpara, and Thavi. Equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and staffed by highly trained paramedics, the ambulance has responded to a wide range of emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, strokes, convulsions, and poisoning. Notably, the ALS has facilitated 11 emergency deliveries in the ambulance. This showcases the importance of timely medical intervention in life-threatening situations.
