SBI celebrated Joy of Giving – Daan Utsav

State Bank of India (SBI) the largest commercial bank in terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers, and employees with a noble intent of giving back to the society in this festive season, recently celebrated Joy of Giving – Daan Utsav at its Corporate Centre in Mumbai.

Thousands of SBI staff came together and donated groceries, food items, stationeries, personal care products, clothes and other essential items to Mumbai based NGO – Keshav Srushti.

A lorry filled with around 750 Kgs of food items and other essential items donated by SBI staff members as an act of kindness, was flagged-off by Mr. Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI, Mr. Arijit Basu, MD (CCG), SBI and Mr. CS Setty, MD (Retail & Digital Banking), SBI.

The Joy of Giving – Daan Utsav programme was held all across Local Head Offices’ (LHOs) of SBI wherein all employees of the bank generously made a massive contribution towards helping poor and underserved and NGOs social causes.
