Carbon Neutral Boiler Installation for a Healthy Environment

News Update/ press Release Pune, 6th September, 2021: Bridgestone India today commissioned a carbon neutral boiler plant at its Pune manufacturing facility. This initiative is part of the Bridgestone Group’s worldwide commitment to reduce its absolute CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030. Built in collaboration with Thermax Onsite Energy Solutions Limited (TOESL) the plant uses carbon neutral Biomass briquettes made from agricultural waste. Estimated steam generation with this Boiler will be 123236 Tons per Year at full capacity and considering above steam generation, estimated CO2 reduction will be 19396 Tons/Year. Healthcare Needs on Wheels

News Update/Press Release India, September 2021:  In the wake of severe effects of Covid-19, 3M India has joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the primary healthcare needs of the underprivileged population by deploying four mobile healthcare units at different rural locations. The healthcare vans will be flagged off on 6th September from Gurugram, Haryana, and will move towards Siddharthnagar in Uttar Pradesh, Gaya in Bihar, Balangir in Odisha, and Goalpara in Assam to provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare facilities. With this partnership, the focus is to reduce the burden on public health infrastructure caused by COVID-19 by providing more than 1,50,000 treatments in these four regions over a span of 39 months (13,000 treatments per year per location).

Solar energy for a beneficial Sustenance

News Update/ press release Kharghar (Navi Mumbai), September 3, 2021: IndusInd Bank today, installed rooftop solar panels at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital located at Kharghar, in Navi Mumbai. A Sigh of Relief to the Indigent Families

news update/press release India, 31st August 2021: As Yemen continues to grapple with one of the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, Aster Volunteers – the global CSR arm of Aster DM Healthcare along with supporting NGOs like Dar Al Shifa Establishment and Governor of Seiyun- Hadramout region, launched a relief mission to distribute ration kits to the people of Yemen. Around 1500 families received a ration kit weighing 50 kg each, providing for around 360,000 meals. Addressing Basic Necessities of Girls and Women
