Ambuja Foundation & NABARD Empower 9,700+ Farmers in Himachal Pradesh through Sustainable Farming

29th August 2025: Ambuja Foundation, an independent, pan-India social development organization dedicated to generating prosperity in rural communities in collaboration with NABARD has led significant economic revitalization efforts in Himachal Pradesh, promoting sustainable farming practices, improving water security and agricultural productivity. Since 2012, these initiatives have benefited 9700 farmers in 167 villages of Darlaghat and Nalagarh, fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for marginal farmers and rural households. In Solan, Himachal Pradesh, Ambuja Foundation, with NABARD’s support, also engaged Deloitte to assess the progress achieved under the Watershed and Climate Proofing Projects. Indian Army and Bisleri International Join Hands for Developing Eco Zone in Sikkim

29th August 2025: Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Letter of Association (LoA) and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army, Sikkim, to develop eco zone for plastic waste management through its flagship program Bottles for Change (BFC), at the Gangtok Military Station. The agreement was formally signed in the presence of senior army officials and representatives from Bisleri International. Through this association, BFC will contribute to develop plastic waste management & send all post-consumer plastic from the station for recycling. Tata Power Brings Together 200 Volunteers for Annual Plantation Drive at Walwhan Garden, Lonavala

28th August 2025: Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, conducted its annual employee-led trekking and plantation drive at Walwhan Garden, Lonavala. The initiative saw over 200 participants, including Tata Power employees and colleagues from other Tata Group companies, come together to strengthen the green cover of the region by planting more than 250 native saplings and over 1000 seeds. ‘SBI Sammaan’ project launched to honor Babu Mool Chand Jain

Siegwerk Rebuilds Government School in Rajasthan, Expanding Access to Education for Local Children

20th August 2025: Siegwerk, a global leader in printing inks and coatings for packaging applications, has completed the full renovation of a government school in village Kanharka (Dist. Khairthal-Tijara), strengthening access to safe and quality education for the local community. The school, once in a state of severe disrepair, has seen enrolment rise by over 50 students following the renovation, growing from 170 to nearly 220. Previously, deteriorating infrastructure was forcing senior students to transfer to distant schools, and many girls had to end their education after Class 8 due to safety and distance concerns.
