29th August 2025: Ambuja Foundation, an independent, pan-India social development organization dedicated to generating prosperity in rural communities in collaboration with NABARD has led significant economic revitalization efforts in Himachal Pradesh, promoting sustainable farming practices, improving water security and agricultural productivity. Since 2012, these initiatives have benefited 9700 farmers in 167 villages of Darlaghat and Nalagarh, fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for marginal farmers and rural households. In Solan, Himachal Pradesh, Ambuja Foundation, with NABARD’s support, also engaged Deloitte to assess the progress achieved under the Watershed and Climate Proofing Projects. 29th August 2025: Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Letter of Association (LoA) and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Army, Sikkim, to develop eco zone for plastic waste management through its flagship program Bottles for Change (BFC), at the Gangtok Military Station. The agreement was formally signed in the presence of senior army officials and representatives from Bisleri International. Through this association, BFC will contribute to develop plastic waste management & send all post-consumer plastic from the station for recycling. Also, the partnership aims to create awareness, drive behavioural change, and promote sustainable practices for a cleaner and greener future. 28th August 2025: Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, conducted its annual employee-led trekking and plantation drive at Walwhan Garden, Lonavala. The initiative saw over 200 participants, including Tata Power employees and colleagues from other Tata Group companies, come together to strengthen the green cover of the region by planting more than 250 native saplings and over 1000 seeds. Employee volunteering has been at the heart of Tata Power for over a century, with the company today recording one of the highest per capita volunteering hours across Tata Group companies. Meanwhile, kilos of untouched food are quietly discarded. In a city overflowing with both abundance and neglect, three organisations decided to rewrite this story. In November 2024, Café Delhi Heights, Neighbourhood Woof, and HEART launched Project Feeding Forward, a transformative initiative that redirects surplus restaurant food to feed rescued and stray dogs. What began as a simple act of compassion has grown into a scalable model for food rescue and street animal welfare. 25th August 2025: On the occasion of 40th National Eye Donation Fortnight (25th August – 8th September), ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with the Matanand Welfare Foundation, has announced the launch of India’s largest eye donation awareness initiative,PledgeMyEyes 2025. This ambitious, nationwide campaign aspires to inspire thousands of new eye donation pledges and raise urgent awareness to combat corneal blindness, which continues to affect millions across the country. As part of this nationwide drive, PledgeMyEyes 2025 will reach out to over 1,00,000 people across multiple states through awareness rallies, free eye screening camps, educational programs in schools and colleges, webinars, and social media outreach. 20th August 2025: Siegwerk, a global leader in printing inks and coatings for packaging applications, has completed the full renovation of a government school in village Kanharka (Dist. Khairthal-Tijara), strengthening access to safe and quality education for the local community. The school, once in a state of severe disrepair, has seen enrolment rise by over 50 students following the renovation, growing from 170 to nearly 220. Previously, deteriorating infrastructure was forcing senior students to transfer to distant schools, and many girls had to end their education after Class 8 due to safety and distance concerns.
