15th September 2025: Biocon Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Biocon Group, today held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new Government High School building in Kodamballi, Channapatna Taluk of Karnataka. This school is imparting education to over 250 children who come from 23 surrounding villages. Dr C. N. 11th September 2025: On the occasion of its 14th Foundation Day, PR Professionals (PRP), a leading integrated communications firm and the flagship of the PRP Group, launched #IOwnGurugram, a community-led civic responsibility campaign aimed at inspiring citizens, corporates, and communities to take proactive ownership of the city’s well-being. While Gurugram, known as the Millennium City, is celebrated for its modern growth, it has also been grappling with several infrastructure and urban challenges. The campaign encourages citizens to take ownership wherever possible and collaborate with authorities and the government to address these issues. To mark the beginning of #IOwnGurugram, over 100 PRP employees at its headquarters in Gurugram rolled up their sleeves to tackle on-ground civic issues in their office vicinity.

10th September 2025: Bisleri International, India’s leading packaged drinking water company, inaugurated the third reservoir, restored in Nubra Valley, Ladakh, under its flagship initiative, Project Nayi Umeed. The reservoir, with a capacity to hold nearly 12 lakh (or 1.2 million) litres of water, has been repaired and restored to ensure a reliable irrigation supply for farming communities in the region. The initiative was launched in collaboration with the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, with the Ladakh Marathon acting as the implementing agency. The restored reservoir is connected to the Lakjung Irrigation Canal, which originates from the Shyok River and runs for approximately 14 kilometers. The

10th September 2025: Samsung, India’s largest consumer electronics brand, today announced a major expansion of its flagship CSR programme, Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), reaffirming its commitment to empowering India’s youth with future-ready skills while supporting the Government’s vision of Digital India and Skill India. The skilling programme, will expand to 10 states this year, up from four in 2024. It will upskill 20,000 students in future-tech skills such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, and Coding & Programming during 2025, a six-fold increase over last year’s 3,500 students. Alongside technical training, the students will also receive instruction in soft skills to enhance workplace readiness, while eligible candidates will be supported with placement assistance in relevant industries.

10th September 2025: CBM India, in partnership with SBI Foundation, announced the launch of a three-year project to provide educational and therapeutic support to 200 children with disabilities in the Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh. The project was officially inaugurated recently in Narmadapuram. The project is implemented by CBM India under SBI Foundation’s Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities, one of the Foundation’s flagship programs, and it will cover the Narmadapuram and Babai blocks. These two blocks were selected based on the needs observed in the area. While many children with disabilities are enrolled in school, access to assistive devices, therapy services, and inclusive learning environments remains limited. Families often lack information about available support, and financial constraints make

9th September 2025: Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF), established in 2018 as the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Mirae Asset Financial Group in India, partnered with Times Employ India Foundation to deliver its ‘Employability Linked Skill Training’ initiative, awarding 100% scholarships to 177 young people from economically weaker sections (including 54 young women). The programme developed market-relevant capabilities and opened clear pathways to employment.
