6 January 2026: Girnar Foundation, the CSR arm of CarDekho Group, recently organized a series of community-focused initiatives like its flagship Warm Care Drive and education-led programs across Jaipur and Gurugram. As winter sets in across North India, the Foundation distributed over 400 winter essentials, including sweaters and winter kits, to children from underserved communities. The initiative aimed to ensure warmth, comfort, and dignity for children during the colder months, while reinforcing the importance of collective care and social responsibility. The five-day intensive learning camp benefited over 100 government school students from Grades 6 to 12, providing them with their first hands-on exposure to Robotics, Engineering, and STEM fundamentals through 100% screen-free, activity-based learning. Advanced Micro Devices supported over 150,000 students over the past financial year through a series of education and workforce development initiatives aimed at expanding access to technology education in underserved communities. The company executed STEM projects at over 500 government schools in Delhi NCR, Karnataka, and Telangana. 55 of these schools were transformed with state-of-the-art STEM labs, while seven mobile science labs brought hands-on learning to over 20,000 students in remote communities. In parallel, seven community science centres were established, serving as collaborative learning spaces for 6,000 students across 27 government schools. December 26, 2025: The Hettich Poddar WoodWorking Institute (HPWWI) held the Convocation and Award Ceremony for their first-ever batch of women trainees in Woodworking , marking a key moment in women’s participation within the Woodworking and furniture and fittings sector , as this is also India’s first Girls batch in this sector. Held at Hotel Park Plaza, Faridabad, the ceremony recognised 108 graduating students, including 50 women trainees, who completed HPWWI’s three-month Short-Term Training (STT – Mobilized) programme. For many of the women graduates, the programme represented their first formal entry into a highly technical and traditionally male-dominated trade, thus girls were given the “Ice Breaker Award’ for the courage shown by them. On the occasion of Christmas, a heart-warming social initiative was organized at Aashrayam Phase-1 to share festive joy with underprivileged children. Agrasheel Infratech Private Limited hosted a special Christmas Carnival Picnic, which saw enthusiastic participation from children associated with Sarthak Foundation, Vishalakshi Foundation, as well as children of construction workers working at the site.
