30 November, 2023: Next Education, a SaaS-based end-to-end education solutions provider and Selco Solar India Pvt Ltd have collaborated for an educational initiative. 29th November, 2023: North and East India, the focus of “McDonald’s for Youth’’ community program by McDonald’s India- North and East, aims to benefit 1,500 less privileged people with employment opportunities, by 2025. Nearly 6,000 people are employed by McDonald’s across its restaurants in North and East India. The company also makes a significant investment in training and development initiatives every year. FUJIFILM India concludes its’ recent CSR initiative by flagging off Tuberculosis screening in Valsad, Gujarat

FUJIFILM India, operating in the imaging segment, reaffirmed its solidarity with the government’s effort of “TB Harega Desh Jeetega” campaign. It recently flagged off its CSR initiative for Tuberculosis screening in Valsad, Gujarat as a step towards strengthening the government’s mission. This initiative will span a period of 10 months and focus on the districts of Banaskantha &Valsad. The underprivileged communities in the industrial pockets, mining belts and semi-rural areas where tuberculosis remains a persistent health concern will be reached through this program. Agre – the District Collector of Valsad, from the District collectorate was joined by Shri Manish Gurwani, the Valsad District Development Officer, for the flagging off of the Valsad TB Screening Mobile Vehicle.

ADB, Greenway: Channel Carbon Finance by signing a deal for Enhancing Improved Cookstove Usage in Rural India

24 November, 2023: A $6.5 million senior secured loan to produce and distribute 1 million improved cookstoves to the states of Madhya Pradesh and Odisha in rural India was signed by ADB – The Asian Development Bank and Greenway Grameen Infra Private Limited. A first-loss liquidity reserve of $3.25 million has been included from the Climate Innovation and Development Fund (CIDF), administered by ADB. There will be a significant reduction in black carbon and carbon monoxide emissions as the improved stoves reduce the fuel needs by 65% and the generation of smoke by 70% as compared to the typical and traditional indoor stoves or mud chulhas. Through this project, the cost of new cookstoves for rural households will be subsidized.

Campaign on Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) on the eve of Child Safety Week launched by Arpan and BEST

22 November, 2023: To mark the Child Safety Week 2023, observed from 14 November to 20 November 2023, Arpan and Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) have joined hands.  The objective of this collaboration is to increase the awareness about Child Sexual Abuse on public transports and creates safer environments for children during their daily trips. Child Sexual Abuse is a matter of grave concern that requires close attention. Going by the data released from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in 2021 170 CSA cases are recorded daily, with 7 cases reported per hour. Over 10,000 trees planted in 48 hours during Galgotias University’s environmental initiative – “3G – Galgotias Goes Green

15th November 2023 : Academic institution – Galgotias University executed an environmental initiative recently, titled “3G – Galgotias Goes Green.” This registered the planting of over 10,000 trees within a duration of just 48 hours.
