Nitin Gadkari (Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways) launching Sarthak’s Rozgar Sarathi online job portal (https://www.rozgarsarathi.org/) which will provide private as well as government jobs for Persons with Disabilities (PwD’s). The portal enables people with visual impairments access the website using assistive technologies, such as screen readers. Mumbai, December 16, 2021: RBL Bank’s flagship CSR initiative ‘UMEED 1000’ Cyclothon, a social endeavor to support Inclusive Education, culminated successfully today, having raised funds worth 5.20 crores. 159 cyclists, including 59 RBL Bank employees, collectively covered a distance of 1,14,289 kms. The proceeds of the initiative will be donated to Udbhav RBL School, in Fatehnagar, Hyderabad, a school adopted by the Bank in 2019 and catering to underprivileged children and also to the new school adopted by the Bank for children with special needs under the Udbhav RBL School franchise, in Nallasopara, Maharashtra. Child and maternal malnutrition continue to be the most challenging risk factor for health loss in India. There has been an alarmingly high rate of under nutrition and child stunting among children in India. The Global Hunger Index (2020) — which is calculated on the basis of total undernourishment of the population, child stunting, wasting and child mortality — places India at the 94th spot among 107 countries. This partnership with Sir Mathuradas Vissanji aims to break gender stereotypes by inviting girls to get skilled in male-dominated areas.
