Apollo Tyres makes significant changes in its European supply chain – sources 100% natural rubber from companies committed to new sustainability guidelines

  May 29, 2023 : In a recently introduced new initiative, the two European production units of Apollo Tyres in the Netherlands and Hungary will incorporate significant changes. These changes are in accordance with Apollo Tyres’ Global Sustainability Strategy. Adhering to the code of conduct set out by GPSNR or the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber, Apollo tyres is now sourcing 100 % natural rubber supplies for its’ European production facilities from companies that have committed to sustainability throughout their supply chain.  Sustainable natural rubber will be used in the production of all Apollo and Vredestein branded tyres in Europe.   As part of this policy, new natural rubber supply agreements have been initiated with businesses that have traceable-to-plantation

Valvoline™ India commits to a greener future by initiating a green drive week with Sustainable Initiatives

                                         19 May, 2023: Global lubricant manufacturer Valvoline Cummins Private Limited (“Valvoline Cummins”), organised a green drive week with a theme ‘Sustainability, Nature and the Pollinator.’ This initiative that was aimed at creating a more sustainable and resilient world, encouraged all employees, associates and distributors to work together to cherish and value our planet Earth. Community libraries to empower students, set up in rural areas of Assam by                             Vantage Circle and Xondhan Foundation

Nestlé India takes a green step – partners with Greenline to deploy LNG powered fleet

  Nestlé India and GreenLine, pioneers of LNG-fuelled heavy trucking logistics in India, have taken a green step towards creating a sustainable future through custom designed container trucks. This partnership aims at reducing the carbon footprint of the logistics operations of Nestlé India. Nestlé’s factory in Sanand, Gujarat, and Bhiwandi, Maharashtra will see the deployment of Greenline’s custom created 46 feet long containers. The LNG Powered fleet from Greenline comprises state- of –the- art trucks that are manufactured by Blue Energy Motors.
