Valvoline™ India commits to a greener future by initiating a green drive week with Sustainable Initiatives

19 May, 2023: Global lubricant manufacturer Valvoline Cummins Private Limited (“Valvoline Cummins”), organised a green drive week with a theme ‘Sustainability, Nature and the Pollinator.’ This initiative that was aimed at creating a more sustainable and resilient world, encouraged all employees, associates and distributors to work together to cherish and value our planet Earth.

A tree plantation drive at Valvoline India’s manufacturing facility in Ambernath, Maharashtra was undertaken during this initiative. The event saw employees planting trees in the periphery of the company. The children of the channel partners, employees, mechanics, drivers, and students who had received a scholarship under the Muskan Scholarship program by Valvoline participated in a poster making competition.

A visit to a nursery in Gurugram in association with the NGO “IAMGURGAON” to instill an awareness about the native species was organized.  This visit formed a part of the employee engagement initiative for the HQ employees. Subsequent to this visit, a series of activities was organized to bring the employees closer to the environment and nature.

Mr. Gaurav Dang, Director Valvoline Cummins, leading the CSR strategy in India said that at Valvoline Cummins they were committed to promoting a sustainable future for all.
