Rwandans and friends of Rwanda mark the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda

On 7 April 2026, the High Commission of Rwanda in India, in partnership with the United Nations in India, organised Kwibuka32 event, marking the 32nd Commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. The event took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, with morning and evening sessions. The commemoration activities began with a morning exhibition attended by around 450 students and educators from high schools across New Delhi and nearby areas. Through their artworks, students depicted the horrors of the genocide while spreading messages of peace, love, and unity.
