IFCCI awards best CSR projects of Indo-French companies, celebrates 10 years of the CSR Actat its 5th edition of the CSR Conclave & Awards

24th November 2023: The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI) awarded best CSR projects from French and Indian companies across seven categories at the 5th edition of the IFCCI CSR Conclave and Awards in the presence of Mr. Damien Syed, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of France to India. The Annual CSR Conclave brings together CEOs, policymakers, CSR leaders, CSR foundations and non-profit organizations to a single platform and share best practices while recognising the efforts of the most impactful CSR projects. Campaign on Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) on the eve of Child Safety Week launched by Arpan and BEST

22 November, 2023: To mark the Child Safety Week 2023, observed from 14 November to 20 November 2023, Arpan and Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) have joined hands.  The objective of this collaboration is to increase the awareness about Child Sexual Abuse on public transports and creates safer environments for children during their daily trips. Child Sexual Abuse is a matter of grave concern that requires close attention. Going by the data released from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in 2021 170 CSA cases are recorded daily, with 7 cases reported per hour. Walplast and Nanhi Kali host an educational event to ring in a  meaningful Diwali 

16th November 2023 : Walplast Welfare Foundation, the CSR arm of Walplast hosted an educational event on November 9th, at their head office in Mumbai in collaboration with Project Nanhi Kali. During this event, 33 young students (Std.III to V) participated from the Nanhi Kali project, belonging to Palghar school. They were accompanied by 7 key Community Associates. Walplast Welfare Foundation and Nanhi Kali Collaborate in an inaugural event to boost education for the underprivileged girls

28 September, 2023: DryChem India Pvt Ltd Group of companies in the manufacturing of building construction materials segment has its’ CSR arm – Walplast Welfare Foundation (WWF). This foundation collaborated with a nonprofit organisation Project Nahi Kali for an inaugural event in Palghar. Project Nanhi Kali, works towards providing high quality education and assistance to the underprivileged children nationwide.  The event in Palghar, Navi Mumbai saw a turnout of 60 participants of the Nanhi Kali program, who were accompanied by their parents, representatives of Dry Chem Indi Pvt Ltd and Nanhi Kali Foundation as well as community partners. FUJIFILM India’s CSR drive, empowers communities -amplifies TB Detection and Prevention Program     

                                                              30 June, 2023: In a bid to support the Government of India’s ambitious mission of eradicating TB (Tuberculosis) by the year 2025, FUJIFILM India launched the Never Stop Screening to Reduce Diagnostic Delays campaign in 2021. The First phase of this project covered the Northern belt and included over 1 million individuals. The screening results revealed 12,000 people with TB symptoms. FUJIFILM India, conducted door-door- TB awareness and screening jointly with its’ partners. This was done via the mobile TB Detection machine and focused on educating the populations in the targeted regions that were hard to reach, on TB symptom recognition and the importance of early detection.
