Mumbai, April 7, 2026: Tata Power marked World Autism Awareness Day through a day-long inclusive celebration under its flagship ‘Pay Autention’ initiative. The event was organized in partnership with the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and took place at the Trombay Community Hall in Chembur. It also marked the beginning of a month-long series of initiatives aimed at promoting autism awareness and fostering inclusion.  The engagement brought together over 300 participants, including neurodiverse individuals, caregivers, NGO partners, and experts—underscoring Tata Power’s commitment to strengthening support systems for the neurodiversity community. 18 March 2026: Tata Power reaffirmed its commitment to advancing inclusive ecosystems for neurodiverse individuals through its Pay Autention initiative at the 3rd edition of the National Purple Fest, organised by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) at Amrit Udyan, Rashtrapati Bhavan. The day-long festival witnessed participation from over 8,000 persons with disabilities, bringing together organisations, institutions and communities working to strengthen inclusion and opportunities across India. 3rd June 2024: HMD, in partnership with the Samarthanam Trust, recently teamed up to conduct a joint initiative aimed at empowering people with disabilities (PwDs). The event, held at Samarthanam Trust’s premises, focused on providing essential assistive devices, promoting independent living, and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Through this collaborative effort, HMD and Samarthanam Trust have embarked on a mission to provide essential assistive devices that enable people to overcome challenges, reduce secondary health complications, and unlock new educational and employment opportunities. By equipping individuals with vital tools, this initiative aims to foster independence, alleviate caregiver stress, and promote an inclusive society where everyone can thrive.
