DSC07364Bengaluru, May 25th, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment towards building more inclusive and empowered communities, Wonderla Holidays, India’s largest amusement park chain, has recently partnered with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled to support Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Under the initiative, the brand has distributed 120 assistive devices worth over ₹40 lakhs, for beneficiaries across Bengaluru, Kochi, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The assistive devices will empower individuals from economically weaker sections, helping enhance mobility, accessibility, independence, and livelihood opportunities. As part of the roll out, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, hearing aids, were provided along with other rehabilitation support equipment tailored to individual needs.

The beneficiaries identified under the programme include individuals with cerebral palsy, locomotor disabilities, visual impairment, and hearing impairment, many of whom had limited access to essential rehabilitation and mobility support systems. The initiative will now positively support beneficiaries, helping them lead more self reliant and dignified lives by improving their participation across education, employment, and everyday social engagement. This marks Wonderla Holidays’ first collaboration with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, an organisation known for its work across education, livelihood, sports, women empowerment, and rehabilitation, impacting over 90,000 lives across cities in India.

Commenting on the initiative, Arun Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman and Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd., said, “At Wonderla, we believe meaningful community impact begins with creating access and enabling dignity. For many persons with disabilities, access to the right assistive support can significantly improve confidence, mobility, independence, and quality of life. Through our partnership with Samarthanam Trust, we hope to create a positive difference by supporting individuals with resources that can help unlock greater opportunities in education, livelihood, and everyday living. As an organisation, we remain committed to building inclusive communities through impactful and purpose-driven CSR initiatives.” DSC07403 (1) - Mohammed Sulaiman

Dr. Mahantesh GK, Founder and Managing Trustee, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, added, “We are proud to acknowledge the meaningful partnership between Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and Wonderla Holidays, which reflects a shared commitment to inclusion and dignity for persons with disabilities. Wonderla’s generous support in advancing healthcare initiatives and providing essential assistive aids has significantly improved the quality of life for many individuals, enabling greater independence and participation in society. This collaboration stands as a powerful example of how corporate responsibility and social vision can come together to create lasting impact.”

The initiative aligns with Wonderla Holidays’ broader CSR vision of uplifting underprivileged communities and improving quality of life through focused interventions across health, accessibility, education, and livelihood development. By extending the programme across multiple cities, the company aims to strengthen community participation and create sustainable social impact at scale.
