Wiley India’s skilling campaign aims to make every youth Atmanirbhar


Wiley India launches its skilling campaign on the occasion of completing its 21 years, which aims at making the youth of our country Atmanirbhar. It is contributing towards community development and especially in vocational and skills training through – Project Swayam and Little Star Home.

COVID-19 not only wreaked havoc on the medical ecosystem but it pushed poverty, hunger and years of social work done by the countries backward by decades. Yet they say no effort is too small and no dream unachievable to make a difference, WileyIndia has been at the forefront of service to the community for a long time, that is not only limited in terms of just providing economic help but has gone a step further to equip the community with right tools and skill set that would give them the gift of freedom and respect in society.

Women and children often bear the brunt of social evils and hence are the most vulnerable section of our society.  To protect them to and make them independent is at the core of our model and understanding the permanent value skilling adds to improving the quality of life our MD, Mr. Vikas Gupta adds; “We at Wiley India believe that CSR efforts should be able to add permanent value to the life of people so they can not only improve their lifestyle but contribute to the society they live. Hence, our CSR projects are based on a sustainable model of transforming lives from a grassroots level, ­ with an aim for self-independence.”

Wiley India has been able to impact 11000 families with Project Swayam and transformed the lives of approximately 400 orphaned and rescued girls of Little Star Home, some of whom have also made it to the nationals and district level for horse riding and shooting.
