26th December 2024: Asymmetrique, a Mumbai-based marketing solutions agency, brought the festive spirit to life by hosting a heart-warming Christmas party and fundraiser for pediatric cancer patients at King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital on 19th December. This was in alignment with the company’s quest to spark joy and value-led growth for all stakeholders through its work.
The initiative, conducted in partnership with the Cuddles Foundation, saw its volunteers bringing smiles to more than 30 patients, between the age of 4 and 14, undergoing treatment at the public hospital. Annually, an estimated 50,000 children across India find themselves battling cancer. Thousands of them come from marginalized communities and rely on adequate care and treatment from public hospitals and private funding to recover in time.
The initiative to strengthen such support saw senior leaders from Asymmetrique spending time with the children to create uplifting moments. The party was followed by the distribution of nutritionist-approved snack boxes and thoughtfully curated gifts. In addition to the celebration, Asymmetrique hosted an internal fundraiser, encouraging employees to contribute through a unique “Wishing Basket” initiative. By addressing malnutrition, a significant barrier to treatment success, the funds are aimed at improving the chances of recovery for these little Bravehearts.
Talking about the association, Nitin Gupta, Founder and Managing Director of Asymmetrique, said “At Asymmetrique, we’re driven by the belief that our work should translate into growth for everyone – our clients, their customers, and communities at large. This initiative is a reflection of that principle. Bringing joy and hope to these children and their families has been incredibly rewarding for all of us and serves as a reminder of the power of compassion and community. As we look ahead to 2025, we remain committed to delivering work that fills us with both pride and purpose, always striving to enable change and growth where it’s needed most.”
“Asymmetrique isn’t just a partner; they’re powering our mission to ensure no child fights cancer on an empty stomach this Christmas,” said Purnota Dutta Bahl, Founder & CEO, of Cuddles Foundation. This initiative marks the launch of a broader “Asym Cares” program, which reflects the company’s ethos of nurturing curiosity, sparking joy, and enabling a positive environment for all the stakeholders it serves. As part of the same, the company will host an initiative every quarter, impacting different communities. Asymmetrique’s efforts during this festive season reaffirm its position as a socially responsible organization dedicated to creating value that stands the test of time.
