19 September 2024: Maithon Power Limited (MPL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, is thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Jharkhand’s Under-14 football team, which has secured the runner-up position in the National Football Championship. Orkla India Partners with CleanMax to Make MTR Karnataka Factories 100% Renewable

13 September 2024: Orkla India, the parent company of MTR and Eastern, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with CleanMax, a Brookfield-backed company, to solidify its sustainability goals and accelerate its journey towards achieving net-zero emissions. The collaboration involves a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the generation and supply of renewable energy from a 6.6 MWp Solar Captive Power Project located in Jagaluru, Karnataka. 11 September 2024: The All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and OPPO India, today kicked off the second leg of the ‘Generation Green’ campaign with a nationwide electronic-waste awareness drive (e-waste) at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. This milestone marks Ramjas College as the first ‘Eco-Conscious Champion Institute’ under the programme. As part of the first leg, OPPO India and AICTE promoted green skills among youth by offering internships across colleges in India. Over 9,000 students from over 1,400 institutions applied for these internships, and 5,000 were selected. DRI installs solar street lights to illuminate the outskirts of Dadhikar village in Alwar

30th August 2024: Desiccant Rotors International Pvt. Ltd., a flagship company under the Pahwa Group, has installed Solar Street Lights on the outskirts of Dadhikar village, Alwar as part of its CSR activity. The project aims to enhance the electrical infrastructure of the village by improving the lighting condition of the region.  As part of the initiative, 25 solar street lights will be installed in the initial phase to illuminate the stretch of the street remaining dark during the night. Serving the purpose of improving, safeguarding, facilitating, and encouraging vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the night, the installation is estimated to benefit more than 7,500 people residing in the village.
