Madur Sugar and Robin Hood Army collaborate for Madhur Utsav a Diwali initiative open to all segments of society

13th November 2023: Madhur Sugar, in the packaged sugar brand industry, has initiated ‘Madhur Utsav’ to celebrate the festive spirit of Diwali among all segments of society. The company, organised its’ first volunteer-driven initiative in collaboration with Robin Hood Army in thirteen locations in Delhi. The Robin Hood Army is a volunteer base organisation that serves the less privileged by organising the distribution of surplus food from the restaurants and community to them. The Madhur Sugar team, is led by Executive Director Mr. Ravi Gupta. Platform 65 hosts Diwali dinner for the children of Om Sai Sevasrama Orphanage

Akzo Nobel India, the makers of Dulux paints, is celebrating Diwali this year, with its Indradhanush women who are striving towards creating an empowered and diverse future in rural India. AkzoNobel India launched Project Indradhanush in 2021 with the primary objective of enabling women to foster micro-entrepreneurship and socio-economic development in rural India. Second biogas plant under the My Clean City programme of HCL Foundation inaugurated in Noida

6 November, 2023: A biogas plant, the second of its kind was installed at Shri Krishna Maa Jalpa Bhavani gaushala in Sector 15A, Noida. This was done under the My Clean City program of HCL Foundation. The first one, similar to this was installed at the Shree Ji Gausadan gaushala in Sector 94A. The second biogas plant installed at Shri Krishna Maa Jalpa Bhavani gaushala is a Sistema 200 biodigester which will transform organic waste into renewable biogas and potent organic fertilizer. Greenhouse gas emissions in the 250-305 tons of CO2 range per year will be mitigated with the help of this plant. School children of JBCN International School Parel, displayenvironmental stewardship through a tree plantation drive

2 November, 2023: The teachers and learners of the JBCN International School, Parel joined hands recently, to successfully execute a tree plantation drive at Kalamb which is located approximately 100 kms from Mumbai. This initiative went a long way in supporting their local community and a larger cause of nature. Forests of Hopefulness, an environmental NGO supported the initiative.
