ImPaCCT Foundation & Tata Memorial Centre, supported by Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation celebrate HOPE 2023

11 December, 2023: The biggest annual paediatric event of the Tata Memorial Centre HOPE 2023 with a commitment of supporting paediatric cancer care was celebrated recently. This event celebrated the vivacious spirit of paediatric cancer patients, and their victory over cancer with the message that childhood cancer was curable.

This event by ImPaCCT Foundation and Tata Memorial Centre was supported by the CSR arm of K Raheja Realty – Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation. It was held at Sheila Gopal Raheja Auditorium, Bandra.

Prominent personalities attended the event and expressed their solidarity and support. The list of dignitaries included Alia Bhatt, Kapil Sharma, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Amole Gupte, Krishan Kumar, Dr Madhu Chopra, Nikhil Dwivedi, Rupali Ganguly, Jamie Lever, Rohit Jethwani, Parveen Shahani, Gaurie Pandit, Ayaan Hashmi, Priya Dutt, Dr. Sudhakar Shinde and Dr Sudeep Gupta to name a few.

HOPE as the word signifies seeks to provide through this event HOPE 2023, joy, inspiration and a sense of empowerment for the children who are battling cancer. There were 400 children who participated and were present at the event. There were various gracefully crafted and choreographed solo performances during the event. Despite battling cancer, the children showcased their talent on stage and put up enthusiastic and heartwarming performances.

Director – Academics, Tata Memorial Centre – Dr. Shripad Banavali said that through HOPE 2023 they wanted to spread the message that childhood cancer was curable.

During the months of October, November and December, professionals from the field of dance, music, art & photography conduct workshops for the patients in the hospital and on HOPE Day, the accomplishments of the children are highlighted.

Officer-in-Charge, ImPaCCT Foundation, Tata Memorial Centre – Shalini Jatia, expressed her gratitude to the Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation for their support for HOPE 2023. 

Executive Officer, Sheila Gopal Raheja Foundation – Gayatri Raheja, said, that they had learnt the core values of philanthropy and public service from her grandparents after whom the foundation was named and which she represented currently.

ImPaCCT Foundation, Tata Memorial Centre offers holistic support to each and every child, coming to the hospital for treatment. 

The students of Raheja Educational Institutions participated and volunteered at ‘HOPE 2023’.
