22 April 2024: JW Marriott New Delhi collaborated with the Arts and Souls Foundation to host a captivating art exhibition at The Gallery Room. This artistic expression highlighted the remarkable talents of children with autism while raising awareness about autism.

Through this collaborative initiative, JW Marriott New Delhi provided a unique platform for specially-abled children affiliated with the Arts and Souls Foundation to highlight their artistic prowess and embark on a transformative journey of self-expression. Guests were enthralled by the collection of paintings, each a testament to the exquisite artistic flair possessed by these exceptional young individuals. The proceeds garnered from the sale of these artworks directly benefitted the Arts and Souls Foundation, empowering them to continue their impactful charitable endeavors.

The evening commenced with a warm address by Mr. Sharad Datta, General Manager, JW Marriott New Delhi. “In alignment with Marriott International’s ‘Nurture Our World’ initiative, we are proud to have partnered with the Arts and Souls Foundation for an art exhibition this Autism Awareness Month. This initiative provided a valuable platform for children with autism to highlight their artistic abilities and raise awareness for the autistic community. The event not only highlighted the remarkable talents of these young individuals but also fostered a more inclusive environment. We are committed to supporting such initiatives that empower children and contribute to the well-being of our community.” said Mr. Datta.

Following Mr. Datta’s inspiring address, Dr. Commander Kartikay Saini, an advocate for the inclusion of autistic individuals, shared his insights, stating, “Autism is not a disability but rather a unique form of ability. It equips autistic children with exceptional perspectives, remarkable strengths, and an abundance of talents that they can leverage to understand and contribute meaningfully to society. When empowered with the appropriate support, guidance, and opportunities, there are no limitations to what these children can achieve. It is our shared duty, as parents and members of society, to nurture the inherent talents of autistic children and cultivate a secure environment that fosters their growth.”

The ambiance was further enriched by the soulful melodies of a saxophone performance. The guests actively participated in an immersive painting session, unleashing their artistic spirits by translating their emotions onto canvases with vibrant colors and expressive strokes.
