1st September 2025: Sumadhura Foundation, the CSR arm of Sumadhura Group, announces the launch of its flagship educational initiative, ‘Sumadhura Nirman Shatha Shatham’, dedicated to transforming the quality of education and ensuring equal learning opportunities for thousands of government school children in Telangana. Implemented in collaboration with Vandemataram Foundation and the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, the program aims to support high school students in government schools by broadening learning opportunities and establishing clear pathways to academic and career success.
Sumadhura Nirman Shatha Shatham will be rolled out across 25 government schools in 12 districts of Telangana, reaching over 7000+ children, to achieve a 100% pass rate. The program is set to run for an initial period of one year, with a long-term vision to extend support for up to ten years, ensuring sustained impact and continuity in learning.
This initiative blends academic support, scholarship opportunities, and career guidance in a thoughtful and student-centered approach. The program brings together several elements to help students excel. Participants will receive access to quality study materials, exam preparation guides, and support from volunteers. Sumadhura Foundation and Vandemataram Foundation will actively facilitate scholarship opportunities for deserving students in reputed institutions. Additionally, a dedicated Sumadhura Scholarship Program will be introduced in the future to support eligible students, further easing their path to higher education. The program will also focus on peer-to-peer learning, collaborative learning activities, and consistent monitoring of the progress to ensure the comprehensive success of the program.

This initiative also marks Vandemataram Foundation’s first major program focused on students from Grades 8 to 10.
