On World Youth Skills Day CNH Industrial Pledges to Empower Indian Young People with Up-Skilling Initiatives

15July,2023: CHH Industrial, in the agriculture and construction equipment industry, has reiterated its support for skill development and education on Youth Skills Day, today. It has committed to prioritizing skill development and education which are the key drivers for a sustainable growth. CHH Industrial has already impacted approximately 15,000 families in the agriculture and construction sector through its various skill development initiatives.

CSR Lead at CNH Industrial, Kavita Sah, mentioned that their commitment through their skill development initiatives was towards driving productivity, innovation and sustainability across industries. The individuals who would be empowered through training and education would lend a positive impact to the society and industry. Their empowerement would also benefit the communities. Apart from the training they also collaborate actively with industry players, dealers and suppliers in a bid to facilitate employment opportunities. Through the existing and upcoming endeavors, the company remains dedicated to furthering the development of rural India, she added.

Comprehensive training programs introduced recently by the company’s New Holland and Case IH agriculture brands, have made significant impact all across India, for the farmers and equipment operators. The innovative initiative of New Holland Agriculture, aims to equip individuals with the essential skills and technical expertise that is needed for mechanized farming practices.  A programme titled The “Unnat Kaushal’’ – Sugarcane Harvester Operator training program of CASE IH, is a programme that has a similar design. It is created specifically for operators who are working in sugarcane harvesting all across the country.

The Skill Development Centre in Pithampur, recently witnessed the first anniversary celebration of CASE Construction Equipment. Comprehensive training in loader backhoe operation is provided by “Hunar” and remains its primary focus. This helps operators find jobs in the industry.

The Pithampur plant of the company has a modern, fully equipped Service Training Centre. The dealer staff also receives training from the After Market Sales (AMS) team.
