The Power of One educational trust marks the completion of its 7th year – 274 needy students sponsored so far!

11 October, 2023: The Power of One educational trust was established in 2016 by Prasad Narayan and his wife, Rekha Krishnan. The trust assists students who are keen to pursue a college degree but are unable to do so due to financial constraints. Since the academic year 2017-18, the trust has so far sponsored 274 students by paying tuition fees to the tune of Rs. 23 Lakhs across several colleges. The Founders say that this would not have been possible without the contribution of friends, family & well-wishers. These students are pursuing their studies in various disciplines like, Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, and many more. All these students have a great academic record but come from families that are struggling to meet their daily needs.

The sponsored students have taken admission in various institutes of Pune and some other parts of India. These students were enrolled in various fields like, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Arts, Law and more.

The trustees Rekha Krishnan & Prasad Narayan often meet the sponsored students and encourage them to excel in their studies. They are told to keep upgrading their skills and keep working hard.

As the Power of One educational trust turns 7 today, the Founders reaffirm their commitment towards helping meritorious students who come from financially weak backgrounds to complete their education and earn a livelihood and stand on their feet as soon as they can.
