
Japanese Multinational Company Brother International India Supports the “No Ocean Waste” Initiative to Champion Sustainability and Align with UN SDGs
31st January 2025: Japanese Multinational Company Brother International (India) Private Limited, a global leader in technology and innovation, reinforced its commitment to sustainability by supporting the “No Ocean Waste” initiative. The event took place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Juhu Koliwada Beach, Mumbai, in partnership with Project Mumbai. This initiative was a part of Brother Group’s Environmental Vision 2050, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 14: Life Below Water. The event highlighted Brother International India’s ongoing CSR efforts to reduce marine pollution and contribute to a cleaner, waste-free ocean. Employees were engaged in a beach clean-up drive, where the collected waste was sent for recycling in collaboration with the local municipal office. This initiative
