ENTOD Pharmaceuticals hosts free eye checkup camps all across the country on its 46th Foundation Day

  

11 July, 2023 :To commemorate its’ 46th year on July 11, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, conducted a free eye checkup camp at the Lion’s Eye Hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra. This company initiative on eye health of the community, extends to 46 other locations, all across India. The other cities covered are – Ranchi, Bilaspur, Darbhanga and Srinagar. People of all age groups are encouraged to avail the free comprehensive eye examinations that will detect and address common eye conditions.

Those who visit the free eye camps can undergo thorough screenings for conditions like glaucoma, cataract, dry eye, myopia, Diabetic Retinopathy, macular degeneration and more. Expert guidance will be provided by medical professionals on optimal eye health and skilled ophthalmologists will conduct the examinations. They will promote the importance of proactive eye health management. Through this initiative ENTOD Pharmaceuticals has taken a step forward on improving the lives of individuals and providing them accessibility to eye healthcare solutions.

ENTOD Pharmaceuticals has also unveiled its latest state of the art R&D facility in Navi Mumbai in addition to the Foundation Day celebrations. The latest analytical and formulation research tools are a part of this cutting-edge facility. The advanced research facility, that has been approved by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, or the DSIR focuses on the development of ENT, ophthalmic and dermatology formulations. ENTOD Pharmaceuticals will be empowered to continually enhance its product portfolio and deliver innovative solutions to its’ patients through new product development, molecular investigations and formulation research at this newly opened research facility.

Executive Director of ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, Nikkhil K Masurkar expressed his vision for the company’s future, and said that they were thrilled to celebrate the 46th Foundation Day, which bore testimony to the company’s dedication to quality, innovation and research. He added how proud he was of the company’s achievements, and the hard work and perseverance of their employees and teams over the past four decades. Their global reach had spanned 67 countries and included Europe, UK, Australia, Russia and South Africa. He mentioned that they would continue expanding in both the domestic and international markets. They would be recruiting more employees and continue exploring new opportunities in the segments of ophthalmic surgical and medical cosmetic dermatology.

Ophthalmologist, Lions Eye Hospital Nanded, Dr. Vaishali Dagde said that ENTOD Pharmaceuticals free eye camps had shown that many individuals are living with eye diseases that are undiagnosed. She added how important it was to prioritize regular eye examinations and detect conditions at an early stage and ensure that timely treatment was given. She said that comprehensive eye examinations for people of all ages would be emphasized through this initiative. She mentioned that their joint efforts would go towards everyone in future enjoying the gift of a clear and healthy vision.
