SVRAN Group: Reach ing out during COVID -19 scenario

The coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented and has created a severe crisis in the entire world, including India. Also, the COVID-19 generated situation has placed a huge strain on our health and social care workers. The various companies associated with Svran Group have extended a helping hand towards dealing with the COVID-19 scenario. In several high impact and meaningful endeavours it has reached out to be of help to frontline health workers, migrant labourers and towards programmes of food provisions in Delhi and other states during this human crisis.

They have also contributed to the Prime Minister’s Fund. Also, they are providing large quantum of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), highquality masks, hand sanitisers and thermometers for doctors and other frontline health workers. Further, it will be providing hand sanitisers to about 15,000-20,000 doctors every month. Funds have also been given for migrant labour through various foundations and chambers.

One of our companies has been working with ASSOCHAM for the past several years for various communitylevel interventions. Taking into account the need of the hour, this company decided to partner with ASSOCHAM in supporting the food requirements of meals (Lunch & Dinner) of a large number of healthcare professionals/ workers at the new facility specially set up at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi to care of Covid-19 patients.

It is our responsibility and privilege to support our COVID-19 frontline warriors – doctors, nurses and healthcare personnel – who are working round the clock to save precious lives. They have our unending gratitude”, said Sushma Paul Berlia, President. She added, “To face this biggest challenge that humanity has ever faced, we should all come together and join hands to fight it out successfully”. These companies have been playing an effective role in man-making and nation-building. They have been playing an effective part in social outreach initiatives, particularly in the realms of health and well-being, women empowerment and for those who are physically challenged, among other causes that it espouses from time to time.
