Zest Outdoor Project world’s largest generation of energy through 650 solar panels across 31 billboards in Mumbai

20 lakh units of solar energy over the next 5 years to be supplied to Mumbai railways at No Cost.

Zest Outdoor Media, the world’s first green OOH asset management company that has introduced solar billboards to generate electricity, has recently bagged the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for installing the highest number of solar panels on a single advertising billboard. Zest Outdoor has announced that over the next 5 years, it is all set to deliver over 3 lakh units of solar energy with 84 solar panels to the railways. This will be a record feat of generating the world’s highest green energy (solar) from a single advertising billboard. Zest Outdoor Media has installed a total of 650 solar panels across 31 billboards in Mumbai and will be generating 20 lakh units of solar energy over the next 5 years to be supplied to Mumbai railways at no cost. 

 

The company clinched the World Record for the largest installation of solar panels on a single advertising billboard. Three hoardings of size 40 feet x 20 feet were merged to create a single hoarding of size 60 feet x 40 feet, on which 84 solar panels were installed on the rear side of the project’s billboard, to generate approximately 60,000 units of green renewal energy per annum. 

Mustafa Akolawala, at the helm of the company as its Founder, harbors the strong conviction that “You are your competition” and this is what propelled him to compete with his earlier successes to establish new path-breaking records.

 

On receiving the GUINN ESS WORLD RECORD, Mustafa Akolawala commented, “. Mustafa announced Hyundai Motor as their Green Partners on this Guinness World Record-winning billboard.

Zest Enterprise, entered the Outdoor Asset Management Business 9 years ago. Zest has been conferred with the Title of India Books of Records & Asia Book of Records for installing the largest number of solar panels on advertising billboards. The placement of each billboard offered the highest units of electricity, excellent advertisement visibility, and was aesthetically appealing.

 

Today Zest Enterprise undoubtedly claims the record for installing the highest number of solar panels on advertising hoardings. These hoardings are uniquely placed on the busiest roads of Mumbai to attain maximum visibility and attain the highest reach. Approximately, 2.5 million dollars were spent in erecting these 31 solar hoardings in different locations across Mumbai that will continue to generate green energy for the next 2 decades. Approximately, 1200 metric tons of Iron & Steel were used to erect these magnificent hoardings.

 

While companies the world over are grappling to mitigate and find sustainable solutions for environmental challenges, like global warming that are looming large on the horizon, an indisputable industry leader has emerged.
