First commercial passenger flight in India, powered by a blend of Indigenously produced Sustainable Aviation Fuel takes wing. Air Asia India, Praj, and IOCL collaborate to create history. In a remarkable feat, India’s maiden commercial passenger flight using a blend of indigenously produced SAF (Sustainable, Aviation Fuel) soared high from Pune to Delhi on the 19th of May 2023.   This marked a significant development in the decarbonization of the aviation sector. The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) in partnership with Praj Industries, supplied the blend of SAF to the Air Asia flight i5-767 The Hon. Radico Khaitan and SheWings collaborate for a health and hygiene awareness camp in Sitapur 

Radico Khaitan Limited (“Radico Khaitan” or the Company) started its operation in 1943 and was earlier known as Rampur Distillery Company. After executing a successful collaboration in Rampur, Radico Khaitan took up another collaboration with SheWings Foundation to organize a health and hygiene awareness camp for women in the Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh. This camp saw some interactive sessions curated to create awareness about menstrual hygiene and also taught them how to cope effectively with the stigma associated with menstruation. Distribution of sanitary napkins to the women present was also undertaken during this camp.  Appropriate knowledge to tackle the taboo around menstruation was also imparted. DIKSHa by Dalmia Bharat Foundation- Empowering Communities through Skill Development 

In a country with the youngest and largest workforce in the world, India faces the challenge of significant skill gaps, with only 5% of the workforce being recognized as formally skilled. Addressing this concern, Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Dalmia Bharat Ltd., India’s leading cement manufacturer launched its flagship program – Dalmia Institute of Knowledge and Skill Harnessing (DIKSHa) to enable Sustainable Livelihoods and Skill Development for disadvantaged communities in India. Bright Future in collaboration with Cognizant Foundation inaugurated a new training center with its first batch of more than 215 female aspirants. The center is well equipped to provide skills training to young women from marginalized communities in Pune under Cognizant Foundation’s Tech4All program to facilitate sustainable livelihoods. The program aims to provide career guidance, IT-based specialized training, and life skills support that will help enhance confidence and aid in obtaining gainful employment leading to a better life. SM Toys paying due and appropriate cognizance to economic empowerment and gender equality has implemented this unique initiative of providing livelihood to empower women aged 24 to 45 years. Sustainable Farming and Environment Conservation Promoted By Avashya Foundation During its 5th Annual Mango Festival

The CSR arm of Allcargo Group, The Avashya Foundation hosted its annual Mango Festival as part of its Maitree initiative recently. This initiative is geared towards building sustainable livelihoods for farmers and conserving the environment. The venue for this festival was the Allcargo headquarters in Mumbai. Allcargo celebrated the enticing fragrance, exquisite flavor, and delectable taste of the king of fruits on the 18th and 19th of May 2023, for the fifth year this time. The tribal regions of Maharashtra benefit through the promotion of sustainable growth and development that the annual Mango Festival brings.    The plantation of over 850,000 fruit-bearing saplings has been planted under the Maitree initiative working towards replenishing the green cover of planet Earth.
