Training programs on Modern Farming Techniques being organized by NCRTC for farmers

  24 August, 2023 – The NCRTC – National Capital Region Transport Corporation, which is a joint venture company of the Govt of India and the States of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and U.P, and is functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs is organizing Skill development programs for farmers. The farmers living in the districts of Ghaziabad and Meerut will be educated on modern agricultural techniques. Under this training initiative, a team of agricultural experts are teaching farmers new methods of modern agriculture. In the initial phase of the programme various villages like Nangla Moosa, Bhud Baral, Khadarabad, Sahapur, Asalat Nagar, Kakra, Sara, Kanoja, and Sikrikurt in Ghaziabad and Meerut districts will be included. HCLFoundation takes a step towards furthering a sustainable planet by planting 47000+ saplings across India.

The 47th anniversary of the HCL Group was marked by the plantation of 47,000+ saplings of different native species trees from across India. HCL Foundation, the CSR arm of HCL Tech, carried out this initiative. This mega plantation drive in India was spread across the cities of Bengaluru, Madurai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Vijayawada, Lucknow, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Hardoi, Thoothkundi, North and South 24 Paraganas and Noida. Training on Sustainable Farming Practices to be imparted – MOU between LT Foods and ICAR- NCIPM

17 August, 2023: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) – National Research Centre for Integrated Pest Management (NCIPM) and 70-year-old Indian origin FMCG company, LT Foods, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. According to this, 10,000 farmers in the country will be trained on sustainable farming practices. This initiative is part of the ESG Goal of LT Foods to train 50,000 farmers by 2025. The company has till date, trained 20,000 framers all from across India. These farmers were trained under the company’s SRP or Sustainable Rice Production programme. Accessibility and Care enhanced at Secundarabad Railway Station with the donation of 88 wheelchairs by ConfirmTkt
