A specially curated event “Let’s Empower “was successfully concluded on the 4th of September. This event marked VFI’s commitment to empowering the lives of the visually challenged. With an innovative appeal, the“Let’s Empower’’ includes the visually challenged. This program enables confidence building and empowers those seeking medical aid. The process of transforming lives includes bolstering self confidence and enhancing the skillsets among individuals suffering from visual impairments. Marico, one of India’s leading consumer product companies in the global beauty and wellness segment, had established their Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation (PKF) ON World Coconut Day in 2017. The focus of the Parachute Kalpavriksha Foundation was on 3 principles. The first being enabling higher crop yield, the others being training farmers to be self-capacitated in their farms and imparting training to them on scientific and research based agricultural practices. The Foundation has plans of covering over 4 lakh acres of farmland and enrolling over 1 lakh farmers by FY25. By FY26 the aim is to generate 1000 crore incremental farm income. 2 September, 2023 : SPARSH Foundation founded in 2007, a charitable wing of SPARSH Hospitals, conducts multiple social initiatives with the aim of helping the underprivileged.  An initiative launched in 2010 – Guru Namana, identifies retired teachers residing in rural areas and offers them free joint replacement surgeries.  Nearly 800+ teachers have benefitted from this initiative till date ever since the inception of this initiative. Under the Guru Namana program, a 100 percent success rate is achieved in joint replacement surgeries for eligible retired teachers. Screening camps were conducted in Bangalore, Gulbarga and Raichur for the same. This surgery is offered to retired teachers, who cannot afford these high-end treatments like joint replacements due to their low remuneration. SPARSH Guru-Namana

St. Judes India Childcare Centre has recently opened its 42nd BMT Centre in Mira Road Mumbai. This will manage 1000 families across 14 states in India. This Centre will extend free of cost holistic care and administration, as well as cover the accommodation of eight children being treated for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s CTC, PHO & BMT Center. Their families too would be included in the accommodation. The” Home Away from Home “concept of its previous centers and the holistic model of care is being carried forward in this newly opened facility as well. 26th August , 2023: A Jan Bhagidari or Community engagement event was organised under India’s G-20 Presidency by The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and Gau Samagra, which is a cooperative society dedicated to cow related products and self-help groups. The “Gau Samagra Raksha Bandhan Abhiyan” initiative was organised with the objective of honouring the crucial role of the “Aapda Mitras” as first responders during emergencies. Member Secretary NDMA, Shri Kamal Kishore mentioned that the “Aapda Mitra Scheme” was in alignment with the broader goal of enhancing disaster resilience and preparedness across the nation. 25th August, 2023: Panasonic Life Solutions India Pvt Ltd –an electrical construction material company present all across India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic Holding Corporation, Japan. Panasonic Life Solutions India, one of the largest ECM (electrical construction materials) manufacturing company in the country has collaborated with Gurukrupa foundation to launch a mobile medical unit. The aim of this project is to bring about an improvement in the health conditions of the residents of Thane. Ongoing efforts are underway to provide primary health care through a mobile medical unit under the Arogyadoot project. Residents of low-income groups in Majiwada, Chirag Nagar, Nalpada, Kokanipada, and Dharmveer Nagar will have access to the facilities of the medical facilities in the van.

  24 August, 2023 – The NCRTC – National Capital Region Transport Corporation, which is a joint venture company of the Govt of India and the States of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and U.P, and is functioning under the administrative control of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs is organizing Skill development programs for farmers. The farmers living in the districts of Ghaziabad and Meerut will be educated on modern agricultural techniques. Under this training initiative, a team of agricultural experts are teaching farmers new methods of modern agriculture. In the initial phase of the programme various villages like Nangla Moosa, Bhud Baral, Khadarabad, Sahapur, Asalat Nagar, Kakra, Sara, Kanoja, and Sikrikurt in Ghaziabad and Meerut districts will be included. Through
