Partnership between Signify and Brahmaputra Volleyball League lights up community volleyball courts in Assam

Signify a well-known company in lighting for professionals and consumers and lighting for the Internet of Things, engaged in a partnership with BVL or the Brahmaputra Volleyball League to illuminate 20 community volleyball courts in rural Assam. “Threads of Health’’ a Health Awareness Series with 26 kathputlis launched by Rang De Neela

Fortis Healthcare and Coal India sign MOU to treat Thalassemic children

31st July, 2023 –Underprivileged children suffering from Thalassemia will now receive treatment under the flagship initiative of CIL – “Thalassemia Bal Sewa Yojana.” Fortis Healthcare has joined hands with CIL in this initiative and a partnership has come into effect through an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding.) New medical facilities under MGL Aarogya inaugurated by Mahanagar Gas Limited

28 th July, 2023:Mahanagar Gas Limited recently inaugurated medical facilities and upgraded new centres under its CSR initiative “MGL Aarogya.”  This initiative which focusses on healthcare saw the inauguration of the new Digital Dental Centre and Dental Implantology Centre at the Nair Hospital Dental College of BMC. The Cardiac Stress Testing Laboratory of the Cardiology Department at Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L Nair Charitable Hospital were also inaugurated. These Centres were then upgraded. DP World focuses on nature conservation with plans to nurture 15,000 Ocean Protection Ambassadors

Tata Chemicals helps in constructing a 3.3-km drainage channel for the benefit of 350 farmers in Gujarat

27 July ,2023:Water logging issues had been plaguing the farmers of the Nageshwar and Goriyali villages in Gujarat. This issue has been addressed jointly under the Sujalam Sufalam Yojana by the Tata Chemicals Society for Rural Development (TCSRD) and the Gujarat State Irrigation department. This state-wide water conservation initiative has provided support to construct a drainage channel that is 3.3 km long. Approximately 350 farmers with farmlands across 300 acres have benefitted from this project. An excavation of 35 farm ponds in 20 villages within a month, increasing the water storage capacity by 9 million cubic feet to support irrigation spread across 880 acres of agricultural land has also been undertaken by TCSRD. WRI India launches accelerator to offer technical support to ten cities for Clean Air Actions

24th July, 2023:WRI India, an independent charity legally registered as the India Resources Trust, focuses on working towards a low carbon economy and building sustainable and liveable cities. WRI India launched its initiative, ACAAS or the Accelerator for Clean Air Action. The launch took place at the flagship event of WRI India – Connect Karo 2023. This initiative is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, Open Philanthropy and Clean Air Fund. The air quality management practices of ten cities will receive technical support from this accelerator.  ACAAS will help the participating cities of Mumbai, Jalandhar, Pune, Agra, Gorakhpur, Vadodara, Indore, Surat, Ahmedabad and Chennai through this program.
