ENTOD Pharmaceuticals hosts free eye checkup camps all across the country on its 46th Foundation Day

   11 July, 2023 :To commemorate its’ 46th year on July 11, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, conducted a free eye checkup camp at the Lion’s Eye Hospital in Nanded, Maharashtra. This company initiative on eye health of the community, extends to 46 other locations, all across India. The other cities covered are – Ranchi, Bilaspur, Darbhanga and Srinagar. People of all age groups are encouraged to avail the free comprehensive eye examinations that will detect and address common eye conditions. Reckitt aims to save 100,000 lives in 25 districts of UP by expanding ‘Dettol Diarrhoea Net Zero’

10 July, 2023: Reckitt, a global consumer and health, hygiene company has launched phase 2 of ‘Dettol Diarrhoea Net Zero.’ This is a scalable, replicable model based on the WHO-7-point plan that aims to achieve Net Zero Diarrhoeal deaths among under-5 children in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This one-of-a-kind program aims to save 100,000 lives. It will inculcate community engagement by raising community awareness through education on the prevention and treatment of diarrhoea in 25 districts in Uttar Pradesh. Promotion of healthy hygiene practices, including hand washing, safe sanitation, coupled with the use of ORS and Zinc has been undertaken.   6th July, 2023:A one-of-a-kind Mercedes Benz fellowship for environment action, beVisioneers, commences this July. The first 100 young innovators who have been chosen from more than 1000 registrants, are all set for their 12-month learning journey with the aim of bringing their planet- positive ideas to life. ADP India, leads community action through its’ community development drive – Month of caring!

6 July , 2023 – ADP India, a provider of Human Resources Management Software & Services, recently deployed a successful global CSR initiative titled, The Month of Caring. This consists of a series of impactful social initiatives, like drives on grocery donation, women & child empowerment sessions, blood donation camps, artisan & craft promotions amongst many other activities.  ADP India continues its’ collaboration through a wide range of eco-social projects, and establishes community development as a foundational value in their business. The program began with a grocery donations drive, wherein INR 13.5 lakh + of groceries were donated by associates from across Hyderabad and Pune. A blood donation drive was organized by ADP, where over 530 ADP associates donated blood.

BPCL supports Cochlear Implantation for 30 Underprivileged Children in Maharashtra through its Healthcare initiative.

4 July, 2023: A significant healthcare initiative primarily aimed at the profoundly deaf children of Maharashtra, was executed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) recently. In this CSR Initiative, BPCL partnered with IMERMIRC – the Indorewala Memorial Educational & Medical Institute & Research Centre, to support 30 underprivileged children in Maharashtra for cochlear implantation surgeries. Individuals who have experienced inner-ear damage, and for whom external hearing aids don’t prove beneficial, experience enhanced hearing after undergoing this life changing procedure of Cochlear Implantation. Through this programme which is led by IMEMIRC early intervention and prevention of hearing loss is offered to the children who are economically disadvantaged and born deaf. SPOTLIGHT RED-  Menstrual Health and Hygiene campaign jointly launched by P&G Whisper & UNESCO.

1st July, 2023:Lack of period education products leads to 1 out of 5 girls in India dropping out of school. Although mother’s are a girl’s first teacher, reports say that 7 out of 10 mothers do not understand the science of periods fully and find it dirty and impure. P&G Whisper and UNESCO have joined forces to raise awareness amongst women in particular, and amongst young school going girls. Over the last 30 years Whisper has been driving menstrual education, distributing free sanitary pads and dispelling myths and taboos related to periods. FUJIFILM India’s CSR drive, empowers communities -amplifies TB Detection and Prevention Program     

                                                              30 June, 2023: In a bid to support the Government of India’s ambitious mission of eradicating TB (Tuberculosis) by the year 2025, FUJIFILM India launched the Never Stop Screening to Reduce Diagnostic Delays campaign in 2021. The First phase of this project covered the Northern belt and included over 1 million individuals. The screening results revealed 12,000 people with TB symptoms. FUJIFILM India, conducted door-door- TB awareness and screening jointly with its’ partners. This was done via the mobile TB Detection machine and focused on educating the populations in the targeted regions that were hard to reach, on TB symptom recognition and the importance of early detection.
