ADP India, leads community action through its’ community development drive – Month of caring!

6 July , 2023 – ADP India, a provider of Human Resources Management Software & Services, recently deployed a successful global CSR initiative titled, The Month of Caring. This consists of a series of impactful social initiatives, like drives on grocery donation, women & child empowerment sessions, blood donation camps, artisan & craft promotions amongst many other activities.  ADP India continues its’ collaboration through a wide range of eco-social projects, and establishes community development as a foundational value in their business.

The program began with a grocery donations drive, wherein INR 13.5 lakh + of groceries were donated by associates from across Hyderabad and Pune. A blood donation drive was organized by ADP, where over 530 ADP associates donated blood.  They also lent their support to NGO’s to set up stalls for handloom products, handicraft stalls for jute bags and more and achieved sales worth over INR 1 lakh. ADP understands the problems that are faced by daily wage workers, and children during the summer season that is prone to numerous heat waves, and has therefore, organized buttermilk distribution drives. During this drive, over 1000 individuals, received refreshing beverages. ADP also organized a Wish Tree initiative, wherein the wishes of more than 650 children from ADP supported NGO’s were fulfilled.

Volunteer sessions for over 200 individuals spread across various Youth and community development centers, were conducted in a bid to emphasize the company’s commitment to youth and women empowerment.  A magical evening for 200 children living in various Children shelter homes was also organized by ADP. This evening brought a lot of joy, laughter and a sense of wonder to the young hearts. Clothing items numbering over a 1000 and 50+ school kits were distributed to needy individuals from the underprivileged background, people suffering from HIV, elderly people and orphans. More than 5000 beneficiaries from ADP supported NGO’s and others across Hyderabad and Pune, will utilize the contributions made during this month long activity. 

 General Manager and Managing Director, ADP Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vijay Vemulapalli said that as responsible corporate, it was a joint endeavor to impact society in a positive way. A collective community development was what Tarana, their social responsibility program aimed at. He further added that 5000 members of the community had already been impacted positively by the chain of activities that were undertaken recently. He said that the company would continue its social endeavors and positive contribution to the community.
