                                           26th October,2023: North Gujarat faces a pressing issue if water scarcity, and Energy Maharatna ONGC, has stepped in to successfully execute an innovative project. This novel project makes potable water from waste water that is released by its Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP.) The water starved region of North Gujarat, through this successful pilot will be ensured of the availability of clean water for both, industrial as well as agricultural purposes. It also marks a significant milestone in the preservation of vital water resources in this region where there is scarcity of water.   21 October , 2023:Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) an  FMCG company has partnered with Y4D foundation to facilitate a multi-faceted program in Maharshtra which will empower 5,500 individuals through upskilling. Various community development initiatives in 14 villages in Lote, Wada and Pirnagut were also announced by the company. Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra wss present at the launch of this initiative by the company at the India Moment Conclave that was hosted by the Y4D Foundation in Pune. Out of the 5,500 individuals, HCCB will equip 3,000 women with crucial financial and digital literacy skills.  18th October, 2023: A day long workshop –  ‘The Indian Collaborative for Applied Sustainable Solutions’ (ICASS ) was recently organised by The Nature Conservancy Centre (TNCC) and was backed by TATA Trusts. A diverse group of sustainability practitioners came together to address critical gaps in the science -policy practice interface to ensure an effective sustainability implementation. The focus of the discussions were 20 ICASS initiatives and related case studies.The management of elephant colonization in Madhya Pradesh, regeneration of oak forests in Sikkim, the restoration of riparian areas along the Narmada River basin featured here.  These efforts coupled with the landscape level management of the Great Himalayan National Park Conservation Area and promotion of green urban infrastructure were focused on providing

16th October, 2023: An announcement of the successful empowerment of 1800 women was made by Dalmia Bharat on International Day of Rural Women the 15th Of October 2023. Dalmia Bharat, is an Indian conglomerate with businesses in the cement and sugar industry. Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been established through which these women are provided essential skill training and access to vital resources that are crucial for sustainable livelihood development. Dalmia Bharat collaborates with various organizations, namely – NRLM, NABARD to name a few, to organize various training initiatives in the farming and non-farming sectors, such as micro enterprise development, handicraft production and others. These activities cover the communities settled around their regions of operation in 12 states of India.

New Delhi, October 15, 2023: The second edition of the prestigious Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon which concluded earlier today witnessed the participation of 35,000+ runners in support of the cause of #RunForZeroHunger. The record participation, 50% higher than last year, extended across five events including the flagship Half Marathon, Open 10K Run, Great Delhi Run, Senior Citizens’ Run, and Champions with Disability Run. 13 October, 2023: Waaree Energies Ltd., the flagship company of the WAAREE Group, in the solar energy sector, has conducted a unique Tree Plantation Drive. This initiative was aimed at enhancing the environmental sustainability coupled with increasing the green cover of Gujarat. The trees planted during the Waaree plantation drive added a personal touch by associating each tree with the name of a specific employee.
