Empowerment for Underprivileged Women in Chennai through the collaboration of Rapido Auto and ANEW

 28 June, 2023:India’s Auto and Bike taxi platform, Rapido Auto recently partnered with ANEW (Association for Non-traditional Employment for Women) in Chennai. This objective of this collaboration was to generate employment opportunities for underprivileged women by encouraging them to become auto-rickshaw drivers on the Rapido platform and providing them autos for the same. Representatives from Rapido Auto and ANEW were present at the official flag- off ceremony. This collaboration is being viewed as Rapido’s commitment of offering a platform to the marginalized women by empowering and uplifting them, so that they can earn a sustainable livelihood.  Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve receives thermal drones from DP World to protect wildlife and intensify surveillance

27 June,2023:Environment and wildlife protection have received support from DP world, a leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain solutions. The company has provided thermal drones for the Tadoba- Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. A one-year training for the forest field staff and on-site support on operating drones is also planned. The state of Maharashtra house the largest and oldest park – the Tadoba – Andhari Tiger Reserve. This reserve has at least 80 tigers and over 200 tigers in the larger landscape. 26 June, 2023: The First Step Foundation in collaboration with CanSupport NGO for adult cancer patients an artistic event featuring activities to provide a positive and engaging experience for the attendees. The first activity was a mandala art session. Each caregiver and patient received printed mandala sheets and colors.
