 28 June, 2023:India’s Auto and Bike taxi platform, Rapido Auto recently partnered with ANEW (Association for Non-traditional Employment for Women) in Chennai. This objective of this collaboration was to generate employment opportunities for underprivileged women by encouraging them to become auto-rickshaw drivers on the Rapido platform and providing them autos for the same. Representatives from Rapido Auto and ANEW were present at the official flag- off ceremony. This collaboration is being viewed as Rapido’s commitment of offering a platform to the marginalized women by empowering and uplifting them, so that they can earn a sustainable livelihood. 27 June,2023:Environment and wildlife protection have received support from DP world, a leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain solutions. The company has provided thermal drones for the Tadoba- Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra. A one-year training for the forest field staff and on-site support on operating drones is also planned. The state of Maharashtra house the largest and oldest park – the Tadoba – Andhari Tiger Reserve. This reserve has at least 80 tigers and over 200 tigers in the larger landscape. 26 June, 2023:In a recent partnership, Hero MotoCorp, which is a leading manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters has collaborated with the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA) to support their community development initiative. This partnership is in line with the commitment of Hero MotoCorp of promoting the cause of inclusive education and learning. In a recent MoU signed between Hero MotoCorp and the NWWA, Hero MotoCorp will lend its support to CHETNA which is an Early Intervention Center in Delhi. This centre provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, play and counselling to children who are born with neuro-developmental disabilities. 26 June, 2023: The First Step Foundation in collaboration with CanSupport NGO for adult cancer patients an artistic event featuring activities to provide a positive and engaging experience for the attendees. The first activity was a mandala art session. Each caregiver and patient received printed mandala sheets and colors. They were given the opportunity to fill their mandalas with colors, expressing their creativity and enjoying the therapeutic benefits of art. After five minutes, they were asked to exchange their sheets with their partner, fostering interaction and connection among the participants. The second activity was a musical session.
