Mr. U.B. Pravin Rao

Chairperson, Nasscom Foundation

Nasscom Foundation has appointed U.B. Pravin Rao as its new Chairperson, marking a leadership transition at a pivotal moment as the Foundation completes 25 years of driving tech-led social impact. He succeeds Rostow Ravanan, who concludes his tenure after strengthening governance and significantly expanding the Foundation’s work across digital inclusion, skilling, and social innovation. With over 35 years of industry experience and prior leadership within Nasscom, Pravin Rao steps in to lead the next phase of the Foundation’s TechForGood journey, with a sharper focus on scaling impact across digital literacy, employability, women entrepreneurship, and the NGO ecosystem. The transition comes at a time when technology is playing an increasingly critical role in enabling inclusive growth and advancing the vision of a Viksit Bharat.

Mr. Lakshman K. Iyer

Chief Executive Officer, Srichakra Polyplast

Srichakra Polyplast, a leading plastic recycling company in India, has appointed Mr. Lakshman K. Iyer as Chief Executive Officer, as the company accelerates its next phase of scale, integration, and value-added growth. Mr. Lakshman brings over 25 years of global leadership experience across polymers, chemicals, and advanced materials, with a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, driving operational transformation, and delivering sustainable growth across international markets. His appointment comes at a time when the recycling industry is transitioning toward compliance-led, high-quality and traceable output, creating a need for deeper integration across the value chain. In his role, Lakshman will lead Srichakra’s execution of its business strategy and operations, with a focus on scaling plastic recycling capacity, strengthening partnerships with global brands, and advancing the company’s evolution into an integrated, end-to-end circular solutions platform.

Mr. Parthanil Ghosh

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, HDFC ERGO General Insurance

Mr. Parthanil Ghosh has been elevated as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HDFC ERGO General Insurance, effective April 16, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. With over three decades of experience in financial services and more than 16 years in the general insurance industry, he brings deep market understanding and strong leadership. Since joining the company in 2016 following the merger with L&T General Insurance, Mr. Ghosh has played a significant role in strengthening the company’s retail and commercial capabilities, driving digital innovation, and enhancing customer trust. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to responsible growth, transparency, and delivering meaningful value to customers and communities.

Ms. Rachana Sharma

Head of Environment, Shree Cement Limited 

Shree Cement Limited has appointed Ms. Rachana Sharma as Head of Environment, strengthening its commitment to sustainability and responsible manufacturing. With over two decades of experience in environmental management and sustainability, she brings extensive expertise across the cement and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Shree Cement, she served as Head of Environment at JSW Cement, where she played a key role in advancing environmental governance and sustainability initiatives. In her new role, Rachana will focus on enhancing environmental compliance, strengthening governance frameworks, and supporting the company’s strategic priorities of decarbonisation, resource efficiency, and long term sustainable growth.

Mr. Manpreet Singh

Partner and Leader, Grant Thornton Bharat LLP

Manpreet Singh has joined Grant Thornton Bharat as Partner to lead and expand its ESG Services practice, marking a strategic step in strengthening the firm’s sustainability consulting capabilities. With nearly two decades of global experience, he brings deep expertise in ESG strategy, decarbonisation, sustainable finance, and climate advisory. His appointment comes as organisations increasingly focus on responsible and sustainable growth. Prior to this, Singh served as Partner – Sustainability Strategy and Transformation at PwC India from 2023 to 2026, where he played a key role in integrating ESG into business strategies and driving long term value creation across sectors.

Mr. Rishi Pathania

Vice President and Head – Corporate Social Responsibility

Jindal Steel Ltd has appointed Mr. Rishi Pathania as Vice President and Head – Corporate Social Responsibility. The move reflects the company’s continued focus on structured, measurable, and long-term social impact aligned with its ESG priorities. A seasoned CSR, Sustainability, and ESG professional with nearly 28 years of experience, his appointment marks a strategic move by the company to strengthen its purpose-led growth and community impact agenda.

Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati

Governing Board Member, Gates Foundation

Dr. Sri Mulyani Indrawati has been appointed to the Governing Board of the Gates Foundation. A globally respected economist, she is Indonesia’s longest-serving and first female Minister of Finance and a former Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the World Bank. Dr. Indrawati is widely known for leading major financial reforms and championing inclusive economic growth and resilience-focused policies. Her extensive experience in economic governance and development policy will add significant strategic depth to the Foundation’s leadership, supporting its mission to address global development challenges at scale.

 

Ms. Jasjeet Kaur

Chief Executive Officer, Groupe SEB India

Groupe SEB India has appointed Jasjeet Kaur as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a key milestone in the company’s growth journey in India. In her new role, she will oversee overall business performance, strengthen market leadership, and accelerate sustainable and profitable growth. With nearly two decades of experience across fast-moving consumer durables, automotive, and consumer businesses, Jasjeet brings strong expertise in business strategy, brand building, category development, and marketing transformation. Her leadership is expected to further reinforce Groupe SEB India’s position across key consumer categories.

 

Mr. Devadas Krishnan

Chief Development Officer, The/Nudge Institute

Devadas Krishnan has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer at The/Nudge Institute, where he will lead partnerships and fundraising to support the organisation’s long-term resource mobilisation for large-scale livelihood initiatives. An experienced leader with a strong operating background, he brings a founder’s mindset and deep institutional-building expertise. In his new role, Devadas will play a critical part in strengthening the development function as The/Nudge scales its work across India. His focus will be on building principled, long-term partnerships to drive sustainable, population-scale impact in poverty alleviation and livelihood resilience.
